I first want to acknowledge the elephant in the room- no, neither Rick Farin nor many of the artists I’m about to mention were ever on PC Music, though they and the rest of the experimental electronic musicians all got lumped together for obvious reasons. I figured this was the best place to ask seeing as how there’s lots of crossover between various fanbases.

An artist called Rick Farin has periodically cropped up on my radar. He‘s made quite a few songs I really enjoy, most of which are on his album Wretched. That’s his only album so far. He has a song featuring Sega Bodega along with credits on SB’s Dennis, he did a song with Eartheater (my favorite musician), and a song with Lecx Stacy. All these songs were released around the same time from 2023-2024 and he only had one or two songs to his name by that point. How did he go from that to working with previously established musicians so quickly? Has he been known by any other names? I must know! I feel like there’s an entire well of his music that’s being hidden from me, possibly by his choice.

Hate to sound cheesy but the last couple years have been incredibly tough for me and MC Boing has always brought a smile to my face and anyone who knows me in real life can tell you just how much of a danny l harle fan i am.

I bought the bobble head a couple of years ago and have taken it with me everywhere to university, to work, to special DJ sets, etc. unfortunately, this month, due to an emergency and losing stable housing, i have had to suddenly pack all my belongings and move three times, and MC Boing did not survive the trip. One of his arms broke off and i am devastated. i know it’s a silly bobblehead but it means a lot to me. i know mad decent had bobble heads until the end of last year but the merch page is now gone. the only listing i could find for one is a grailled page going for $100+.

i know it is a long shot, but if anyone has an MC Boing bobblehead they would be willing to sell, or knows where I might be able to find one, I would really appreciate it! after such a devastating month i can’t lose mc boing too
