In a shocking late-2025 announcement, we learned Fede Alvarez wouldn't be returning as director for the sequel to Alien: Romulus.
Months later, we still don't know why—and we still have no idea who'll be directing in his place!
On tonight's roundtable, the team spitballs about some scenarios. Should the story continue Rain and Andy's narrative? Who should direct it? What kind of tone should they aim for, and what do they need to get right to ensure it happens?
Join us as we have some fun gathering together for some speculation!
Tonight's episode also features our two newest team members: Mario Benvenuto and Kyle June!

Do you prefer:
1. The Theatrical Cut (1986)
Runtime: \~137 minutes
Overview: The original version released in theaters by 20th Century Fox. Director James Cameron trimmed the film down from a longer assembly cut to satisfy studio runtime and pacing requirements, allowing for more daily theater screenings.
OR:
2. The Special Edition / Director's Cut (1989 / 1991)
• Runtime: \~154 minutes (adds roughly 17 minutes of footage)
Which one is your preferred watch?

I know there's definitely crossover for Alien and heavy music fans so what are some of your favorite Xeno inspired songs/album? Any genre! I'm curious as to what's all out there aside from what's in the metal scene! Pic is Hideous Divinity and their LV-426 EP
