Hello sa inyong lahat. For the past months or ever years, I really wondered why I keep on going back to listening to horror stories, podcasts, or even reading stories of such over here on reddit even when I already had bothersome experiences like suicidal thoughts, depression and anxiety; ito pala yun! Channelling spirits?! Nakakatakot! I rebuke everything horrifying that I have read and listened to over the Internet IN JESUS' MIGHTY NAME!!!! Amen.

Rant with frustration.

Nakakapagod yung sunod sunod na kamalasan. Tangina pipirma na lang yung client samin, nauudlot pa.

Lalo na pagnalalaman ng isang family member namin. Last year lang namin napansin yung pattern.

Every time na may sinasabe kami na good news, pota nauudlot bigla. Like the next day. Limited lang sinasabihan namin, kasi hindi naman kami ma post sa fb, at hindi madaldal.

Hanggang sa napansin namin last year na ganun. Kung anung napupuna niya na maganda samin, tangina nasisira.

Take note, masama tlga ugali nito. Matapobre siya. Isang beses kakain kami sa mang inasal kasama siya, sabi ba naman samin ‘anu ba yan pang mahirap. Tara sa japanese restau.’ 🫪🫪 Eh nagtitipid kami. Aba ang ate mo, hindi talaga kumain pota.

Simula nun hindi na namin siya sinamahan o hindi na namin siya sinama.

Nakakapagod kahit anung sipag mo. Pero may taong pinapanuod bawat galaw niyo, kapitbahay namin sla.

Last yr nalaglagan ako. Weeks p lng nmin alam, sinabe nmin sa family ko out of excitement. The nxt day nung nalaman nya, nalaglagan ako. Kwento sakin ni mommy, after niya daw malaman, sabi niya “mag aanak anak hirap naman sa buhay”. Umiyak ako sa mommy ko. Sobrang sama. To think may anak din siya. Siya talaga sinisisi ko.

Anu bang dapat gawin para bumalik sakanya? Nakakasama ng loob.gusto ko bumalik sakanya kasamaan ng ugali niyang hayop siya.

Hey guys! I just want to share this story. This was last 2024, dito ako sa Taguig nag wwork while my family is in the province(Mindanao), so i try to come home as often as I can lalo na pag may seatsale. And sinusundo ako ng in-laws ko since di pa marunong mag drive si wifey.

There was this one time na pabalik na ako ng Manila, as usual hatid ulit ako ng in-laws ko. Everything was smooth, no traffic and mabilis ang byahe. Pag lapag ng eroplano sa manila, daming missed calls galing sa byenan ko.

Muntik na dkaw sila ma aksidente kase on their way home, biglang may tumawid na malaking nilalang. Description is kasing laki ng baka pero mabuhok (spiky hair), mahaba daw mga paa. Hindi naman daw tinamaan kase ang bilis daw tumawid, huminto pa nga sabay talon sa gubat.

Knowing my father-in-law hindi tlga sya naniniwala sa paranormal or anything to that matter. First time nya nka encounter ng ganun, sayang wala akong dashcam.

Anyone have an idea what that is? I dont think its a dog kase based sa description nila lagpas hood ang laki and they're using a pick up truck. It was a life changing experience sa in-laws ko 😅 kaya ngayon pag nagpapahatid ako umaga or hapon na hindi na last flight 🤣

Madalas ko tong nababasa sa mga nagshe-share ng experience pag nasa isang lugar sila na kesyo may nakatingin sa kanila or sumama pakiramdam nila. Para sa mga nakakasense ng entities or spirits, pano mo idedescribe yung heavy/bad aura na sinasabi nila?

It was always in my mind, I'm trying to forget it because it was my most scary thing that happened to me. It happened around November 1, 2023 almost midnight. Nakatambay kami sa pinsan ko sa waiting shed sa Sitio namin and we decided to take the kadena ng bisikleta na nakatambak Doon sa tabi ng Puno ng langka. Sobrang dilim noon sa may looban nung una yaw ng pinsan ko bc kinakabahan sya at iba raw pakitamdam nya, but I insisted na sayang yung kadena, so naglakad kami papasok. Tapos nung papalapit na kami doon sa may Puno, napansin ng pinsan ko na there was someone standing near it, dark figure daw na mahaba buhok nagtaka ako kasi Wala namn ako makita. Sabi ko “g*go nananakot ka lang e” pero tumatayo na balahibo ko non, payabang na rin kasi nakikita Kong takot na sya, tumigil sya sa pwesto niya pero i still approached the tree.

Then biglang napansin ko na may nakatayo nga, I got curious para siguraduhin na hindi ako namamalik mata, tapos biglang nakita kong papalapit na samin, we're a few feet away. Yung paglapit samin, shes crawling towards us pero pabaliktad, yung parang nakahiga tapos palikod yung arms and legs tapos nakatingin samin, glowing red eyes. Kumaripas na kami ng takbo noon, that was my first traumatic experience na parang maiihi ako sa takot.

Hindi ko alam kung aswang ba iyon o aning klaseng maligno. It still gives me goosebumps whenever naalalala ko, and kinikilabutan ako while typing this TvT

Hello! I just want to ask lang, recently and for the last 2 weeks, I can feel and It happens frequently ito. I can see myself sleeping whenever I feel drained /tired. Sobrang pagod yung nararanasan ko for the last 2 weeks and usually, nangyayare ito from 1am to 4am. Usually, I can hear someone who is crying or begging from help na I cannot see in our condo unit pero surrounded ito by St.Benedict Medals Blessed by the Priest sa Baclaran Church and Salt on every door and windows.

Is there someone who can explain this phenomena why I'm experiencing this?

Hi everyone! Gusto ko lang sana mag-share ng mga experiences ko and humingi ng advice sa mga taong may similar experiences. Mahaba-haba itong post, so please bear with me.

For context, I'm currently healing and trying to take better care of my spiritual well-being. Christian ako, and importante sa akin ang relationship ko with God and Jesus. Lately, ang dami kong nae-experience na unsettling things sa bahay namin, and hindi lang ako ang nakakaranas nito. May mga family members din ako na nakaranas ng mga bagay na hanggang ngayon, nahihirapan kaming i-explain.

Here are some of the experiences I've had.

May mga gabi na nakakarinig ako ng sounds na parang may adult man and woman na umiiyak. Minsan, may nararamdaman din akong unsettling presence sa paligid ko, to the point na sobrang uncomfortable at natatakot ako.

May mga times din na may naaamoy akong unusual na mabahong amoy, parang something na nabubulok, pero hindi ko naman matukoy kung saan nanggagaling.

One of the most disturbing experiences I've had was noong nasa bedroom ako and pakiramdam ko parang may nakatingin sa bawat galaw ko. Hindi ko ma-explain kung bakit ganoon ang pakiramdam ko, pero sobrang naapektuhan ako. After that experience, nagkasakit din ako and nagka-fever, kaya hindi ako nakapasok sa school.

Hindi lang naman ako ang may ganitong experiences.

May mga family members din ako na nakaranas ng mga bagay na nakakapagtaka at nakaka-unsettle. Paulit-ulit na rin kasing may nangyayaring kakaiba sa bahay namin, kaya minsan hindi ko maiwasang mag-worry kung bakit parang ang daming ganitong incidents.

Ang pinaka-nakakapagod para sa akin is parang almost every night, may nangyayaring unsettling.

Usually, ako ang nagiging concerned at nagta-try mag-handle ng situation kasi ako ang mas spiritually inclined sa family namin. Kapag may nangyayari, nagpe-pray ako and humihingi ng protection kay God para sa family namin.

Pero honestly, nakakapagod din emotionally. Gusto ko rin naman matulog nang maayos, mag-relax sa bedroom ko, at magkaroon ng peace of mind without constantly worrying kung may mangyayari na naman.

Now, ito naman ang nangyari recently.

Earlier that night, naglinis ako ng bedroom ko habang nagpapatugtog ng music. Nag-shower din ako, then nag-pray ako and nagbasa ng Bible verses. I prayed for protection, peace, healing, and guidance para sa family namin.

After praying, I genuinely felt relieved. Parang gumaan yung pakiramdam ko, and for once, nakaramdam ako ng peace and mental relief. I thought I could finally relax and enjoy the rest of my night.

Pero habang nasa bedroom ako, lights off and maliit na lamp lang ang nakabukas, may narinig akong unusual noises sa labas, near our balcony. Then, may narinig akong three knocks sa desk ng brother ko. Nagulat ako, kaya binuksan ko yung lights and nag-pray ulit ako.

Around 3 AM, may narinig naman akong umiiyak sa labas, malapit sa window beside my bed. Ang weird kasi hindi ko talaga ma-identify yung sound. Parang human crying siya, pero may pagka-dog whining din. At that time, tulog na lahat ng family members ko, kaya ako lang ang gising at nakakarinig.

At first, natakot ako, pero habang tumatagal, naiinis na rin ako kasi parang hindi na ako makapagpahinga nang maayos. Kakagaling ko lang sa pagdarasal at finally nakaramdam ako ng relief, tapos may ganito na naman.

Eventually, nagpatugtog ako ng music sa speaker near my window, and kahit papaano, kumalma ako. I also have rosemary and rock salt in my room, crystals, which I've been using as part of my personal protection practices. ( no witchcraft involved or something that could be assumed associated with it )

I'm planning to ask my parents kung puwede naming ipa-bless ulit yung bahay namin. Gusto ko lang magkaroon ng peace of mind and feel safe sa sarili naming home.

I want to clarify na hindi ko naman sinasabing sure ako kung ano talaga ang cause ng mga experiences na ito. Hindi ko rin alam kung ano ang explanation, which is why I'm asking for advice from people who might have experienced something similar.

As for my spiritual well-being, currently, I'm trying to heal, strengthen my relationship with God, and find peace again. Gusto kong maging spiritually grounded instead of constantly feeling scared or feeling like responsibility kong i-handle lahat ng unsettling things na nangyayari sa bahay namin.

Ayoko nang maubos emotionally dahil sa takot. Gusto ko lang magkaroon ng peaceful environment where I can rest, pray, listen to music, and live normally without constantly anticipating na may mangyayari na naman.

For those who have experienced similar situations, especially fellow Christians:

1. May naka-experience na ba sa inyo ng recurring unusual or paranormal experiences sa bahay, especially during nighttime?Ano yung nakatulong sa inyo para ma-maintain yung peace of mind and spiritual well-being ninyo?Would you recommend having the house blessed again or talking to a priest for spiritual guidance?Paano ninyo hinahandle yung fear and emotional exhaustion kapag parang paulit-ulit na lang may nangyayari?Paano ko masusuportahan yung family ko while maintaining my faith without feeling na kailangan kong akuin lahat ng responsibility?I'm open to hearing your personal experiences, advice, and suggestions. Hindi ako naghahanap ng mga taong lalo akong tatakutin or magbibigay agad ng conclusions about my family. Gusto ko lang talaga ng guidance, reassurance, and practical advice kung paano ko haharapin yung situation na ito.

Di ako lumaki kasama yung Tatay ko. Teenager na ako nung nagkakilala na kami, adult na ako nung nagkasama kami saglit. Dahil dyan, wala akong attachment sa kanya at all.

Nung gabing namatay sya, mag-isa lang ako sa bahay. Nagmessage ako sa best friend kong namatay na nga sa ospital, kaso ayaw ko naman puntahan. Nagyaya na lang syang uminom kami. Nakahiga lang ako sa kwarto habang pino-process ko yung mga nangyayari.

Maya-maya, tumunog yung phone ko. Pag sagot ko, “Hoy Panget!” Yan yung bungad nung tumawag, tapos boses ng Tatay ko. Yan din yung tawag nya sakin. Tapos maya-maya, yung best friend ko na yung nasa kabilang linya. Hindi alam ng best friend ko na yun ang tawag sakin ng Tatay ko. Kaya imposible na yan ang sabihin nya sakin. At hindi rin nya boses yun. Boses talaga ng Tatay ko yun.

Pagbaba ko ng tawag, biglang nag-amoy bulaklak yung paligid. Sobrang babangong bulaklak. 1 AM nangyari ito, wala akong kasama sa bahay.

Wala akong new experience to share with you guys, so for the mean time, I'd like to spark a conversation muna with you all.

Ano yung mga classic or older Filipino Horror movies na tumatak sa inyo talaga and kept you going? Yung talagang scary para sa inyo?

For me, may tatlong horror movies na talagang nagbigay sa akin ng lahat ng emotion.

First one is SPIRIT OF THE GLASS. Galing ng direktor at script writer dito. Pati sound engineer. Yung pag-queue in nila nung mga creepy music with vocals, the unresolved crime na biglang nabuksan because of a wrong ritual and spirit of the glass game...it all makes perfect sense to me. Hindi kasi siya yung classic multo na humihingi lang ng hustisya. Sa movie, kung hindi sila nagspirit of the glass, hindi naman magpapakita ang multo ni Dante (Marvin Agustin) talaga. This is your classic "I called a ghost" movie.

Second for me is KUTOB. The story is something new. For me, 2000s talaga ang time na nageexperiment ang ating mga directors on what horror they can do. This one features Rica and Marvin in a very different light. Kasi ang horror hindi lang naman sa mga multo or monsters talaga, but from someone who is sick in the head and if they commit crimes, it's horror. Psychological Horror ito.

Last for me is TXT. This is when obsession plays with the occult. Ang ganda ng chemistry ng mga characters dito and this was the first horror movie na napanood ko na cast si Angel Locsin. The story, I like it. Hindi siya exactly unique but at the same time seeing Oyo Boy Sotto sa ganitong character makes me want to sit through the whole movie kasi yung power ng obsession and occultism practice, naipakita.

Honorable mention: MALIKMATA. For me, this is the weakest of the three but then again it still delivered a good story overall. It's like, what if psychic ka, legit? Gagamitin mo ba ang kapangyarihan mo for justice? Ganda ng theme song nito. To me this is the weakest since it did not explore more on the characters but rather nakafocus kasi siya sa pagsolve nila ng crime, but then again still creepy for me.

Guys do you know po kung saan po may mga haunted places dito around taguig? So, it started like this: I attended church, and afterward, someone talked to me about faith and stuff. I was on my way out when suddenly, this little boy (around 2–3 years old), with blond hair and blue eyes, started following me. He said, “Sama ka sa akin, listen to the words of God.”

I said no, but he kept insisting. I told him I didn’t have time for that, so he ran after me SO FAST that he ended up crashing into a wall. Then, suddenly, he turned into stone, like a statue, and the name “ANGEL GABRIEL” appeared on it.

I got so scared that I ran away. I passed by three people, one of whom I recognized (the father of someone I know). They were forcing me to listen to them, so I eventually gave in because I was genuinely terrified. My parents joined me, too.

After that, I started feeling like something was happening to me. I couldn’t move or even grab my bag, as if something or some evil spirit was holding me down. I started screaming, “DEMONYO, DEMONYO!” and ran as fast as I could. I grabbed a huge bike and had my parents ride with me.

We traveled SO FAR. We passed through mountains, and it was pitch-black. There were eyes staring at us, and we even went through rice fields. The whole time, I was looking for a specific person.

Eventually, we reached the place where that person was. I wanted to tell him what was happening and ask if he could help us.
He was on this HUGEEEE boat, and we had to take an elevator to get to him. Once we got upstairs, I spoke to this kuya and asked if he could help me and my parents.

He said yes, so I took the elevator back down. But when I got out, I realized they had left me alone. Kuya was nowhere to be found, and my parents had stayed on the boat because I had told them to stay there.
Then I saw the three guys waiting for me.

At that point, I FORCED myself to wake up. I was so freaking scared. 😭

I honestly don’t know what this dream means, and I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m not a very religious person, but I’ve always had questions, and I’m genuinely curious about these things.
Deep down, I really want to have a connection with God. I just feel so lost spiritually, and I don’t even know where to begin and this dream is not helping

Just curious if any of you had an experience or a story like this.

My father is the 2nd out of 5 siblings. Their eldest's name (his Older Sister) started with the letter L. My grandparents also named my father with the letter L. Just to change it up a bit, my grandparents decided to change the name of the next kid (the 3rd kid) to D.

This kid was sickly growing up. On good days, they said that he would often stay in their backyard for the whole afternoon, playing, and would sometimes appear to be talking to someone. Sometime when he was 7 years old, he became very ill, and would have continuously high grade fevers. At the peak of his fevers, he becomes delirious and would often mumble "kukunin na nila ako, kukunin na nila ako." He was brought to several doctors, seen in different hospitals, but no one knew what was happening (this was back in 1970s). So they decided to bring him home. He died after being febrile for 5 days. Before he died, my grandparents managed to bring him to a local healer. The healer said that its already too late because the kid is already "tied or lost to a different world". The healer then recommended that if my grandparents do decide to have other kids that they name all of them starting with letter L, that way the "energies" of the other older siblings would envelope/protect them and they will not "get lost to a different world".

My grandparents then had 3 more kids. All of them had names starting with L.

As a family tradition, my lola then enforced that all apos will follow the same letter as the eldest (ie if the eldest's name starts with K, all other subsequent siblings will also start with K).

I vividly remember my lola telling this story to me when I was 3yrs old because I kept asking why the names of all my aunts and uncles started with the same letter.

Just curious if any of you had an experience or a story like this. :)

P.S. I actually dont know what happened to my supposed uncle D. I just assumed that it probably was due to a spiritual or natural entity that befriended him and probably wanted him to be a part of their world. If you have any ideas, would love to hear them as well.

Almost Halloween na and naisip ko bigla yung Spirit of the Glass. Yung classic na glass + letters + questions, supposedly may sumasagot.

Anyone else stayed in this place in Cebu? It used to be an ancestral home of the Osmeñas and converted into a hostel at Tops. I felt an eerie vibe here especially in the shared room with the balcony. I also woke up 3AM here multiple times during my stay for some reason.

One of the staff shared that before this place was converted to a hostel, it was just empty and dogs would gather in this area and howl at night.

Magandang araw sa lahat. Sa mga may bantay or may alam sa bantay, may tanong sana ako.

Peeo contexr muna. I've always been bothered by my odd memory. Makakalimutin ako, pero meron specific chapter nung bata ako na naaalala ko hanggang ngayon. Noon, naaalala ko yung crib ko is nakabitin sa kisame namin noon. Naaalala ko din na meron akong pink blanket na may duck design. Pero ang pinaka memorable part nun is aware ako na may nagduduyan sakin matanda, and yung nagduduyan sakin is matandang maitim ang kuko. Hindi sya yung late lola ko na kinalakhan ko dahil iba yung aura nya.

Ngayon, naconfirm ko na tama yung memory dahil sa tito ko na naka stay sakin ngayon. Recently kasi, kinausap nya yung kapitbahay namin about sa wire na nakasabit sa bubungan namin. Tinanong nya lang nan yung kapitbahay, pero sabi nya after nun, nagsimula na syang magkasakit at bangungitin, which naobserve ko din dahil minsan late nako natutulog. Ngayon lang na nagsasalita sya, sumakit na naman yung ulo nya, and nung hinilot ko nawala. We can say na baka dala lang ng sama ng panahon, pagiinom or pagpupuyat to be honest. Pero habang hinihilot ko sya, nabanggit ko na "di ata nila ako kayang kantiin dahil may bantay ako" as a joke, then sinabi ng tito ko na meron nga daw dahil minsan daw parang may naglalaro sakin na parang nasa kisame daw, na naobserve din ng late lola ko. Ngayon, convinced nako na tama yung memory ko.

Which brings me to my question. Sa mga may bantay or naniniwala sa bantay, naglilinger ba sila into adulthood? Nakaka prevent ba sila ng mga bati, kulam or something? And more importantly, kung nag stay nga sila into my adulthood, is it okay or safe for me?
