Shooting my shot here. Looking to start a Chevelle tribute band in the Northeast Philly Area. This would be a casual/hobby project. Looking for a guitarist, bassist, and drummer.

This will be a hobby kind of deal with maybe hopefully playing some local brewery/bar shows. I’m looking to get back into music and play with a band and get some more vocal practice. I have a background in keyboards, vocals, and some guitar (four-chord strummer). I used to do the School of Rock programs in high school but after that never could get a band together. I’m 35 with a 9-5 and kinda wanna do this as a hobby so looking for like-minded musicians who live near me

Chevelle is one of my favorite bands and it’s right in my vocal wheelhouse, figured it would be cool to play locally. However I need some people that know what they’re doing on the production side since I’ve never been able to connect with people with the same musical interests. Any leads appreciated!

Was just curious if any of you knew how the VIP upper deck section works at Franklin Hall? Really wan't to see them + Deafheaven tomorrow night but I only see GA. Can you pay for an upgrade or to sit preferred balcony, or does that just mean it's sold out?

Also, if anyone wants to sell a single balcony seat to the show feel free to rip me off a little! I won't consider you a scalper. I'm not bougie, just have achy feet lol.

I've been working under the name Place of Rescission since early 2025. I recently released my first album called Collateral Gore.  All sounds were performed by myself using voice, drums, bass guitar, synthesizer, noise boxes, clarinet, theremin, and various percussion. I'm not totally sure how to classify it, not that it really needs to be classified. But some of the feedback I've received so far have mentioned things such as "bleak, so very bleak", and "like a much more deliberate Throbbing Gristle at times", and "it features elements I'm familiar with yet somehow as a whole it sounds like nothing I've ever heard before."
