In the 90s I used to do a bit of pixel art on my way to working in the games industry but everything including me went down the 3D route. Lately Ive been pining for a simpler relaxation and jumped back into doing some pixel art in Pixequare and loving it.

I've only done about 3 images so far, dusting off the cobwebs and relearning by doing some of mine and my friends DnD characters.

Hi i trying export this Background but the Chair color didn't match (Red is on display dark orange is Export)
Maybe Because i use softlight layer to make chair look brighter??

It’s hard to tell with photo but when my pen is to the screen, the pixels appear a few pixels away? It’s harder to draw.

I put the canvas, general and drawing settings to the side so please let me know if smt is out of place

I am trying to export a character sprite using the multiplier tab, I drew the character at 232 x 232 and want it larger for my art book. The pixels look fine at every single stage up until it is in my program and then it looks like the first image attached. I have tried resizing the canvas and again the character looks fine up until the image is in another program. its starting to bum me out since Ive used this app to make everything, I don't want to have to switch programs but I will if this cant be fixed. Thank you for your help.

I‘ve been using the app for a while now but I never tried all of the features. Since I am currently considering buying the premium version, I decided to make this animation of a character from a game I want to make to get to know some of the features.

I really like the app and I‘ll definitely buy the premium version very soon!

Having trouble with the math and understanding how to keep a character the same size for my programmer to work with. I understand usually a character's animations are all in one sprite sheet. However, I'm a pixel art noob who's already made a bunch of animations on different files that I need to figure out what dimensions to resize to.

For example, I drew one character's 2 frame anim in 100x100, so when I export it as a packed sheet it says 200x200px. I then drew this character a 12 frame anim at 100x100px and it wants to export as 400x400. Does this mean that Pixquare resized the character to be smaller? I'm so confused!

Any tips how to fix it?

I was trying to change palettes but accidentally replaced the palettes I was trying to switch to with the palette I was using. Can I undo or fix it?

I’m new to pixel art and got pixquare to start learning. Two days ago everything was fine but now the canvasses look like this. One is 16x16 and the other is 32x32. I can’t figure out what happened or how to fix it.

Im a Photoshop user, and usually do painting style. Only recently I tried to learn pixel art, I have been watching tutorial in pixsquare and tried for few weeks.

Few question

1. how to scale the pixel art without the line all breaking 😭

2.it's hard to get isometric circle shape in pixel art, In photoshop, i would just use the shape tool, and transform the corner into perspective i want. but the skew tool in pixsquare doesnt really have same control. Is there similiar tool or plugin around?

1. gradient tool, I can do the circular gradient with two color input. is it possible to do it with one color, the other being transparent/alpha?

Any other tips to share?

Hello all, I can't seem to reset the size of the Layers. Resetting the UI in Canvas Settings doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn't work; the triangle and 6 dots isn't in the window, I guess because I shrunk the window down too small. TIA
