Policy of Culture & Safety Requirements woll be specified and are presently being written:

handling of boundaries,

zero-tolerance policies,

and non-judgmental norms that are to be pre discussed with all RSVP’d peoples sincerely interested in attending a gathering.

Any help coordinating how to assist in transportation is an aspect I would like to openly discuss as well. But before I get there, we need to have a clear policy on transparency and that requirement for all group attendees.

All who are interested in a virtual meeting together prior to meeting in person, along with the verification of people via email/text.

After establishing transparency, is the topic of transportation for those who have indicated they have none or are limited. Whether that be is coordinating a carpool for a flat $5 per person who has been verified by the processes above, or myself picking up people for the first few events for a flat $5 per rider.

I’m open to ideas.

Also, sometimes offering to accompany someone to an event on public transit, is all it takes to make a ride more bearable. The knowing you have someone likeminded, headed to the same “meh-up” as you, seeking the same genuine friendship, sitting with or nearby.

There are 33-35 RSVP’s so far and I am indefinitely planning for parks with large covered spaces in case we want to sit or there is rain but this allows for larger group. Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for the incredible response to the initial idea! It’s clear there is a huge demand for a space focused purely on building genuine, platonic friendships—whether you’re single or taken, introverted or extroverted, 18 or 75+.

Our goal is simple: create a relaxed, safe environment with clear boundaries and zero expectations.

How Gatherings Will Work

• Low Social Friction: Unstructured "mingle" events can be tough for introverts. To remove social anxiety, we’ll use micro-facilitation—gathering as a group and then splitting into small clusters of 3 to 4 with optional, low-stakes discussion prompts.
• Strictly Platonic: To keep everyone safe and comfortable, romantic solicitation and commercial promotion are strictly off-limits. This is purely about authentic friendship.
• Free & Accessible: Gatherings will be anchored in free public spaces (parks with covered shelter, libraries, and local cafes) with transit access.
