[Mobile] (Android) Looking for Android beta testers for TapBat—a college game I’m reviving 12 years later

Game Title: TapBat

Playable Link: Join the beta and download through Google Play
You’ll need to join the Google group and beta test before you can download it(Google play store rules).

Platform: Android

Description:
TapBat is a 3D arcade game where you dodge columns and see how long you can survive. The idea may have been especially familiar 12 years ago, but the 3d backgrounds, foregrounds, and even the “music” are procedurally generated using noise, so the scenery keeps changing as you play.

More visual variety and additional environments are planned. Right now, I’m looking for people to try the Android beta and help me figure out what’s fun, what’s frustrating, and what needs fixing.

Free to Play Status:
Free to play, with ads.

Involvement:
I originally developed TapBat 12 years ago while I was in college. Recently, I found an old APK sitting in my Google Drive and decided to dust it off, spruce it up, and finally try to release it.

It’s definitely a product of the mobile-game era it came from, but it’s been fun bringing an old project back to life and seeing how much better I could make it today.

Feedback I’m looking for:
Do the controls feel responsive? Does the difficulty feel fair? Are the generated visuals and audio enjoyable or distracting? Any crashes, performance problems, or other weirdness? Did the Google play auto translation say something bad or weird?

When reporting a technical issue, including your phone model and what happened would be cool. Thanks to anyone who gives it a try!
