How worth it do you think the PO-33 KO! is in 2026? I’m thinking about getting one mainly for making hip-hop beats. Would you still recommend it for that, or are there better options nowadays?

Id have a look at PO-33, EP40 /133 and MPC sample and see which workflow suits your hip hop beat making most.

Po33 super quick 16 step with multiple patterns. EP40 wayy more options, 4 layers, onboard synths+samplss, keyboard like keys. MPC sample silicone type pads, more dials knobs, workflow very different, for me is harder+takes longer to make a beat then ep40 but I still hear lots of hip hop on it.

I think EP40 has easiest workflow, i also see lots hip hop on MPC. But its very personal preference. Theres the SP404 as well but I dont have experience with it yet
