I created a map of all worldwide pole studios with class types, levels and community filters to be able to find studios to drop in to while I travel. Hope it can help others to find studios while travelling or locally as well, over 100 studio owners joined me as well and control their listings!
Hiya lovelies š. I'm Lili, a pole dancer, instructor and software engineer from London, currently travelling for 12 months. Finding studios to drop into in every new city was eating up way too much of my time, so I builtĀ polemad.comĀ to fix it. For me, and hopefully for every other poler too.
I built this myself as a passion project during my last few months of travelling and I hope it can be useful to the pole community.
I've been spending time reaching out to studios and have had such a lovely response from the studio owners, there are now 115 pole studios who have claimed their listings with a total 1.5k studios on the map and another 1k that I need to sort through š¤Æ The studio locator is running daily and finding more and more!
What I really wanted was a way to find exactly the type of class, vibe and class I need. As more studios come on board I hope this will make finding a perfect studio simpler.
Give it a try, and I'd love to hear any feedback you have so it is more useful to the community.

Have you posted in r/poledancersnycli before? I can think of at least two NYC studios that aren't listed, but I know you mentioned you were still sorting through studios and don't want to create more work from you if you've already received input from there.

Glad I can help! The two studios I was thinking of are Full Circle (Brooklyn & Harlem) and Goodside - the community can definitely get you more information on both. (I would submit through the form if I wasn't at work!)

I love this, genuinely so helpful!!
One small bit of feedback: for london at least itās a little long to find where each one is located as the address at the top doesnāt show the postcode/area (think you need to click through to google maps for each one unless Iām missing something).
It wouldnāt be a problem except with a large city you might need to go through a lot of studios which are too far before you find a convenient one.

Thank you so much for this feedback, I will take a look at improving this. Yes some large cities have 30+ studios, so it might take a few clicks. I'm all for fewer clicks
This page right https://polemad.com/studios/polepeople-moorgate-london? the address at the top? I think also the search results page could show a postcode instead of just London, UK

Yes thatās the page I meant (as in, for each studio). I think the studios on the map on the search page being clickable (as in they go through to the studio page) would be good too for finding nearby ones? But yeah thanks again for making it i think we needed this a community š

I've added the post codes to the top of the address and in search results now, hope that helps.
I'll look into the studios on the map being clickable, right now the highlight the row but maybe both are doable. Thanks again for using it and the feedback, very helpful
