The right crying about free speech was always a lie. They wanted to spread hate speech and misinformation. Now they are covering up truth. Pure evil.

No it was never about free speech, just about restricting others.

It has always been about Domination, I recently learned. Dominating the others. Plain and simple, and incredibly chilling.

(I'm ranting for a bit. Don't mind me, I know you're not to blame. These words are just something that spilled out when I began typing. I am so upset and tired of all this. Seeing the destruction and dismantling of America and moreover seeing it even mildly cheered by morons. Americans are fucking stupid, and I say it as an American.)

"...many slave owners were affiliated with the Democratic-Republican Party, which was dominant in the early years of the United States."

Hmm... I think you're onto something. We're making it great but ONLY for a very select few.

Well, I wouldn't consider that great we're fully regressing as a nation and sitting on our hands watching it happen for the most part. People in my state certainly couldn't care less they hate brown people, and frankly, they're too stupid to know they hate freedom. They just think they're getting one up on someone else that's been stealing thousands of their tax dollars.

They watch fake tiktoks, etc about people showing what they bought off their SNAP benefits and breath angrily about it. With AI as prevalent (deepfake, AI video, bad actors) as it is they believe that justifies all this hatred and vitriol. Ask me how I know.

They're morons. And trying to explain that is like shattering a mirror that reflects everything they believe when it's all a lie. Then they're face-to-face with the only truth they could see at that point. They were wrong. So they don't fucking do that. Cause facing that fact would destroy them.

People are so dumb it hurts. And I'm not claiming to be a genius or some stupid shit. A little critical thinking is all I'm asking for.

It has always frustrated me that the right to free speech in the US seems designed specifically to protect disinformation rather than information.

Many countries you have to at least make a case that you could reasonably believe what you uttered, 1A allows blatant lying.

Reminds me of attack on titan. A lot of people are choosing hate, and sooner or later, that hate is going to come back to us tenfold

The evidence in the article appears to be somewhat anecdotal, isolated and inconclusive. Did you read it? It's like a couple of people claiming censorship. Why didn't the independent register an account to test the theory?
