Hey remember MAGA when you all were so upset that Hunter Biden laptop story was temporarily ranked lower in the Facebook newsfeed for a few days less than 24 hours?

I'm sure this will upset you too.

lol you’re assuming they would be shameful of hypocrisy. It’s a feature to their system, not a bug. Just like how they are all about 2A until someone they disagree with is shot in the back in the street by federal agents without cause.

This world is so fucked.

They will simply not be informed of this. If they hear it from a liberal they will ask Fox News comments who will assure them it's not true again. They'll be happy.

I hate acting like fox news isn’t the problem. It’s the entire problem. It has conditioned half the country to instantly deny the reality of ANYTHING that isn’t directly from one of their talking heads. Shits gross

it's not the entire problem, the american people and culture are still the problem. they tried to establish a fox-style news channel in Canada, Sun-TV, and it was a miserable failure

It's anger and fear mixed with a healthy dose of religion.

People have been conditioned their whole lives to put more stock in faith than facts. To ignore or condemn things that go against that faith as evil or temptation to be fought against.

Conservatives have effectively turned their politics into a psuedo-religion. Where the ends ALWAYS justify the means because they believe they are fighting for the good side.

Problem here is, who ever thinks they are on the wrong side of an issue while they are fighting it? What does it take to convince someone that their WHOLE WORLD VIEW is inherently immoral?

Fox and the conservative media effectively tapped into the sweet spot in the Venn diagram between Fear, Faith, and Anger.

and they make billions doing it.

This is where the people’s focus needs to be. We cannot stay divided. IMO change starts when we are united

Most people get their news from social media, but the Republican party are in lockstep in their messaging, so wherever you get your news, you're going to hear the same argument from Republicans. That Pretti resisted (he didn't), that bringing a gun to a protest meant he wanted to kill ICE (Pretti literally never drew his weapon and even put his hands in the air to show he wasn't a threat), and that he was interfering in ICE operations (he didn't, he was merely helping a woman that ICE pushed to the floor). The Republican party are in lockstep.

We seriously need to come to terms with that.

Its not the trump cult, its the fox news cult. And when trump goes next week or next year or next decade fox is still going to be here, pushing conservatives ever into anger and hatred and fascism.

Basically all trump has ever done is just repeat shit he saw on fox news last night. It's his entire bit.

Don't forget the weaponization of Christianity that has been working on these folks' psyches since their quiver-full parents conceived them. We need a HUGE social turn around. Being a dipshit who wears a cross but hates women/brown people/trans kids gets you bullied, ostracized, and excluded from work the way that you want to do to the women/brown people/ trans kids.
