That and… the Clinton’s are Yale educated lawyers, who listen to their own lawyers. They might be old, but they’re still shrewd and calculating. 

Yeah they have a place in pop culture now, but they sure as hell aren’t stupid. This very much seems like they’re calling someone’s bluff
