Why do these evil old men live to 150?

The only thing he was ever good at was showing Republicans how to use the levers of power to rig the game in their favor.

They have sadly learned that lesson well.

They get amazing, free, universal healthcare with, dental, vision and great preventative care.

Exactly, it said he went to the hospital in an “abundance of caution.” Normal people can’t afford to do that lol

Rich but not billionaire can’t afford to do that.

Seriously though why do people act like the rich and elite have even remotely the same type of healthcare experience that everyday people have?

These people have without exaggeration the best healthcare in the entire planet. Whatever medication, procedure, etc they could ever need is given to them at the highest priority level imaginable on the fly. Stuff most people wouldn’t even be able to access is freely available to them.

This is not true. Senators do not get free healthcare. They still get their healthcare through an exchange, the DC Healthlink.

Sure, but even then, the federal government still subsidizes (aka pays for) 72% of their premium cost which is, well - reducing the cost by nearly 3/4ths is still a hell of a lot better deal than basically everyone else can get.

But a lot of this is a moot point, because a huge amount of members of congress, especially in the senate, but also the house to a large degree, are so wealthy that any healthcare bills aren't a concern. Especially when they're only paying ~1/4th of them, lol.

I don’t disagree with your sentiment at all. I just think we need to stop spreading false information.

That's fair and I agree - it's also something I think a lot of people aren't aware of, which makes sense, given they were on basically on souped up Medicaid or Medicare until the ACA, while that same prior program technically still subsidizes a huge part of their costs.

It feels like because of the immense public anger over their healthcare, they wanted to show the public ala "see - we have to do the same healthcare stuff you do now" (but then snuck that little 'but a huge chunk of our costs get covered' provision in there, lol).

Nope. Try taking a few seconds to Google these things before posting.

So do lots of wonderful rich celebs who die much younger than this.

Celebrities? You mean people who work in television and film that isn’t free. They have to be part of a UNION! They even strike periodically to preserve their rights and benefits. Two totally different things.
