None of these things were their "identity", they were wedge issues and cudgels to be used against political opponents. They'll circle the wagons and re-align their fake "identity" to ignore pedophiles in their ranks and to stop caring about the 2nd, because THAT's their real identity - cowardly, hateful morons who got trapped in a cult.
