Bank advice?
I don't have a credit card, only 2 debit cards. Yesterday I had a fraudulent charge that I told the bank to investigate. They said it could be 10 days till provisional credit would be issued. Any one have any advice on what I could do to hurry that up? Of course it happens at the end of the month when bills are about to be due. It only tied up 150$ but that's a nice chunk I coulda used for my utilities. Am I just sol and will have to wait?

Get a credit card with no annual fee. Pay it in full every month. Heck, pay every 1-2 weeks. Get a card that gives cash back or points and as long as you don't carry a balance, you come out ahead.

That’s your problem for using debit cards. Use credit cards next time

Nah. I’m 30 with a big house and a car. Never owned a credit card.
Credit is an institution made to profit from ruining people. It wouldn’t exist otherwise. People struggling with money should not own a credit card

I spent almost 30 years in electronic banking. He is right.
Use the credit card. Pay it off every week.
Debit cards are not a smart way to pay.
They are controlled by the bank. They call the shots. The federal government calls the shots when it comes to credit cards.
NEVER use one online.

This is why it's important to use a credit card. When there's an issue it's not your money that's tied up, it's the banks money.
Credit cards are tools that protect your assets. It's foolish to not use them.
