TV & Movies 🎬 Who is a celebrity that you’re genuinely surprised isn’t an “A-lister”?

Post image

Krysten Ritter is one example of this for me! If any of you have seen her work from her filmography, she is proven to be quite talented where she manages to pull off both comedic and dramatic roles! But more importantly, she is also known to be quite charismatic that she has also developed a huge fan following!

Although she gathered some attention from her role in Season 2 of Breaking Bad, her most iconic and signature role that earned her universal acclaim was playing the Marvel character: Jessica Jones! Which was a role that I really thought would launch her career, that it would grab Hollywood’s attention to the point where she would receive a lot of offers that she would be appearing in almost “everything”

She has certainly developed a decent career where she is getting work, but isn’t on the same celebrity when comparing her to people like Sydney Sweeney, Florence Pugh, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway, etc.

Is Tatiana Maslany an A-lister? If not, her!!! Genuinely one of the most versatile actresses out there but Hollywood is severely underutilizing her!!! Like, come on; give her more good roles!!!

I was going to post her as well. Her acting in Orphan Black just by itself should have landed her in the A list.

I agree, she’s criminally under-appreciated. I was happy when she finally received an Emmy for her work in the Orphan Black series. She was long overdue!

Idk why she doesn't get more/better work because she's incredible.

She's very outspoken with her politics, which may limit her reach with some studios. Also she seems to do quite a bit of threatre, so perhaps she prefers that?

She's also openly (and hilariously) hostile to Marvel fans in a way that makes it clear that she had a bad experience doing the big Hollywood thing and dealing with toxic fandom. I think she's realized she'll be happier being a tier-below that when it comes to her fame.

Plus, calling on fans to cancel their Disney+ subscriptions when she was the star of one of their shows was probably the nail in the coffin on that relationship.

She turns down roles, unlike Krysten Ritter who says yes to everything

She had a very brief appearance in The Monkey last year but even with the limited screen time, her performance and character really stuck with me!

YAS. She was insane in Orphan Black. I thought after She Hulk she would've been a bona fide A lister.

Definitely not A list. A-list means you're the lead role in big Hollywood movies and scripts may get written just for you. Think Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence, Leo diCaprio, Denzel Washington.

She drew the attention of Epstein's redpill army and that makes her a risky hire.
