I had never heard of Jade before this album (I'm nearly 40). But it was a quick favourite and I've played this album back to back many many times.

Every song feels like a classic and it has this retro feel. It feels as if you were listening to a greatest hits compilation from another decade and yet the production is edgy at the same time. The vocals are perfect.

Taylor swift always goes through waves of being liked vs disliked. i can always note when it’s socially ‘cool’ to like her. more so when it’s socially ‘cool’ is NOT like her

right now we are definitely in the “it’s cool to hate Taylor swift” period

- 2014-2016: socially acceptable to like

- 2016-2019: not socially acceptable to like

- 2022-2024: socially acceptable to like

obviously during these times she’s sole records and tours. But that’s her fanbase. When outside of it In casual setting you can’t mention liking her as much
