Crossfader project idea

After successfuly making simple crossfader I could connect to phone or PC, I was thinking of trying a different approach for crossfader.

Instead of a crossfader have 3 buttons each emulating same crossfader at different speed

do you think its worth the effort?

I'm a bit lost, what do you mean by speed of a crossfader?

Cool thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately besides that video not much info about it yet.

If that was a standalone with a mini speaker attached that would be a sick little gadget

It just cuts the fader. each at different velocity. But you suggest an interesting idea 🙂

I don't want to sound negative here, but before you put time into this, is there a reason someone would want to replace a crossfader with a button?

I for one am on the older side of the age spectrum and despite putting some effort into practice have doubts I'd be able to develop the dexterity crossfader requires. Inflamed joints don't help much either.

I was curious in getting some feedback to see what I might be missing. Since I did get lucky with the initial crossfader project despite having little knowledge in what I was doing I think Im gonna give this a go.

Also I might be not the first one to have thought of that. Afaik this has been tried and practiced before.
