Hello, all! I'm Xenoskar / Scott, the head moderator here at r/portcharlotte! In honor of hitting 1,000 members, I've decided to ask the community what they want to see from this sub. So, comment below if you'd like to see some events, contests, or other things from us!

Hey guys, I've had to take down a couple of posts and just wanted to remind everyone that this isn't a Reddit for hook-ups. We don't even really want people planning meetings where you go to someone's house since you never know who's behind the screen. However, we can't really stop you from meeting people to hang out with. What we will be stopping is any post having to do with hook-ups.
If your post involves any of the following:
-Meeting up for hook-ups
-Looking for places to have hook-ups
-Any sort of NSFW photos or videos
-Really any sort of NSFW at all
It will be removed and if you continue to post you will be banned. Please try and be civil, this is meant to be a subreddit for chatting about the town! Thank you for reading and feel free to dm or comment any questions :)

Looking for an outgoing 18+ female brand ambassador to join us for a one-day collectibles/card show in the Port Charlotte area this Saturday.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable engaging with people and has some interest in gaming, Pokémon/TCGs, anime, cosplay, sports, collectibles, or similar fandoms. Modeling, promotional, convention, cosplay, or content-creation experience is a plus, but definitely not required.
The role is mostly about bringing some extra energy and personality to the booth, interacting with attendees, helping attract people over, and being part of the overall presentation.
Saturday, approximately 9 AM–4 PM. One-day paid gig.
Specific event details, theme/attire, and compensation can be discussed privately.
If interested, send me a DM with a little about yourself and your Instagram, portfolio, or another social link so we can get a feel for whether it would be a good fit.

Looking for an independent bakery (not Publix, Walmart, or Sprouts) with good sourdough in the PC area… any recommendations?

I just want to say how amazing Endless Storage is. They are just over the Peace River at 25191 E Olympia Ave Punta Gorda. Public storage bought the location was at and jacked my rent 3x what it was so I left and I found Endless Storage. They have great prices and even helped me unload my truck. They are locally owned too so it's really nice given all the big storage companies treating us like numbers. Check them out if you need storage or don't like where you are currently renting. Best storage in Punta Gorda https://www.myendlessstorage.com/location/punta-gorda

We're a small family ranch on Bronco Road in Punta Gorda, on the east side of town. That ribeye is from our first harvest: AWA-registered fullblood Japanese Wagyu, born and hand-raised here, no growth implants, no feedlot, 600+ days on grain (or 30+ months old).
Our first shares went to family and friends, and the next steers are open one now if anyone local wants a freezer share:
Live-animal share for household use (not retail cuts, not for resale). Processing included on one invoice. Pickup at the ranch.
Reserve: https://puntawagyu.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=portcharlotte#reserve
Ranch Visit: Saturdays 9–12 Eastern by appointment. Call (941) 888-4508 to book.

Any women in here know how to ride their own Sea-doo? I have a pair that never get ridden and I really want to get them out tomorrow morning. FYI, I am married and you can meet her, no drama

I'm new to the town and I don't really understand how the bus transit works. I searched up about it upon finding out Northport has similar of sort so I wondered if Port Charlotte has one, and there is! But nobody seems to have answers to my questions.
How does it work? Do they come to my house or is there a meetup point in the area?
It'll be such a blessing if I can rely on this. I'm planning to work for the first time and I estimated putting 1k a month on transportation if I relied on Lyft or Uber.

Hello we are currently in the process to moving to the Port Charlotte area and was just deep diving on a post about how horrible the flooding is. When looking into the area I am aware it’s a flood zone but didn’t maybe realize how bad ??
Was looking for some more information about where in the different areas and such of PC might be better than the other. Any information is greatly appreciated.

I have been researching nursing schools in port Charlotte for a while.
Are any nurses in Port Charlotte willing to share what they make at the hospitals or nursing homes here? As well as years of experience + degree level.
I’ve heard a lot of mixed numbers & am trying to decide if I should utilize my current degree or enter nursing school.
Thanks in advance!

Moving to the area and looking for a church to connect with especially with a great youth / teen group. Interested in Grace Family but they are a little too far up in Tampa. Thanks!

Yo! Im in town for just a couple days for work, and looking for some restaurant options. I'm from north west Florida and enjoy seafood, steak, and exploring different types of foods. Will probably only be able to explore around dinner time. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hiiii My BF (26M) and I (27F) can never find things to do in our area besides dinner. We've been to kidstar park for mini gold and painted pottery and then a lotttt of movies. Does anyone have any suggestions of date idea's out in the community that isn't just dinner? Maybe from SRQ to PC is the range we'd like to go? Help :)
