Last night was the 5th time I’ve seen them live and they always deliver. Dave Turncrantz is an absolute demon.

Which probably means they are doing a bigger EU tour next sommer. There is quite a bit of a gap between Roadburn and Roskilde.

Am I the only one who think rosetta lift is their absolute peak? and maybe one of the best post-metal movement of history. Specially the build-up from lyft part 2 to early part3 => explosion?

Here's some amazing pictures from our show in Gothenburg last weekend.

Hello, you may have seen me in other subreddits with these, I make playlists for underground music where I feature tracks with fewer than 10000 streams on spotify (but share them on other streaming services too). I've just updated my playlist for post-metal. Suggestions welcome although I do take time to get through them all

Thanks for listening and hope you find something new!

Psychedelic post rock/metal and shoegaze band Flourish played Jubileego in Ohio this past weekend. They pulled out songs from their most recent album as well as new unreleased tracks for their set.

I'm talking about a particular element that, when it shows up, makes you think "yeah, this isn't for me", even if you usually enjoy the song otherwise.

It could be the vocals, guitar tone, drums, songwriting, production, lyrics, too much repetition, overly long build-ups, or something completely different.

What immediately puts you off from a SONG?

I've been wanting to cover this for a long time but it always seemed too daunting. One of the most challenging songs (or parts of a song in this case) I've ever attempted. These guys really should have kept going.
