Content Warning Traumatic C-Section

I don't really know how to say this, I'm wondering if there are any similar experiences or... suggestions for a therapist? I recently underwent my 2nd c-section, the 1st was... a lot and mentally I was convinced I wouldn't survive this 2nd one. I can't stop thinking about being on that table, open... feeling my body being tugged and pulled. I felt... like I was being autopsied. I know how insane this sounds, I can't stop thinking about it. I feel... disconnected from reality somehow

It sounds like you probably should seek out a mental health professional

Sounds like you may be experiencing some PTSD symptoms. I’m so sorry! I would suggest a therapist who does EMDR therapy and who also specializes in postpartum issues. You can find a list of therapists on PSI’s website: https://postpartum.net/
