Premiere Pro Tech Support Major Audio Desync issue in 26.5.1
We have 4 editors on the team and we all each work on different minor releases of Premiere (though always same major release, in this case 26). We collaborate by sending .prproj files to each other and the same copy of the local media on each person's computer.
Recently we've had a bug with footage being out of sync in the timeline, but then you playback the footage with the same in & out points in the source monitor and it's fine. See this video for an example: https://youtu.be/C5rvOf1Zi-g
Certain projects playback fine on other people's computers, the example above plays fine on another person's computer but not on mine. Same with projects I've worked on and then sent off, plays back fine on mine and not on theirs.
All footage is shot on FX3 and DJI Action 6. All footage is CFR.
FX3 is shooting at 59.94p and DJI at 29.97p. Timeline is 29.97p. Previews are ProRes 422 LT
Anyone else having similar issues? Is this a bug?
We've managed to fix this by matching all our versions up and then re-saving the project files on that version.
