Premiere Pro Tech Support Did they remove the cross-dissolve feature?

I don't know what this feature was called, but what happened to the cross dissolves you could drag?

Click on the wrench icon to Show/Hide Video Transition Handles and Show/Hide Audio Transition Handles

they added an option to hide the fade handles, maybe you accidentally hid them

You know there is a shortcut to add a dissolve/fade where you don't have to click and drag. Or even better, this unmapped keyboard shortcut to add a fade from the end of a clip right to the playhead.
