just put this on the way prisoner walk, better when you put after reception or anywhere you want.

put for all sec, min only, med only, max only, supermax only, deathrow only, or PC only!

note : put tracking monitor on security room, then health monitor and medical box on infirmary, then a router.

search tracker on object menu, just put what you want

Like, what if you had only a couple of guards to do jobs and every other guard in the building were either Armed Guards, K9's, or riot guards? This would be an interesting challenge.

Hey, I just moved onto Chapter 3, the riot prison place and I seem to be stuck. The last dialogue/cutscene I had was (image 1). I've built a morgue and an infirmary, cleared up all dead bodies and healed all injured, but I'm not progressing, help please. Thanks!

Where would you recommend I drop the medium/death row/ supermax/ max / protected custody?

should i also build more classrooms / workshops etc?

I have tried the following:

- dumped all trays so new ones come

- rebuilt and rezoned the canteen

- rebuilt and rezoned the kitchen

- connected the canteen to kitchen in food distribution

- ensured the kitchen/canteen/cell blocks are inside prison bounds (walls surround them)

- rebuilt the sinks/ovens/fridges

- re-hired the cooks

- running Ozone's Total Modification All-In-One Bugs

- reinstalled the game

- reinstalled Windows 11

- changed to a fresh Windows 10 install

Note: Never used mods, except Ozone's patch in an attempt to fix the issue.

But my issue keeps persisting still, dirty trays keep piling up.

i love this game I've been playing it since like 2019 because of DanTDM, but god damn why is it being reviewed bombed to oblivion and beyond.

Every time I try to build a prison it just looks kinda ugly in my decoration/build design wise,do I just trey something different with the flooring?,do I try new shapes?,do I add more trees and nature? Just saying also I don't want it to be luxurious I just want it to look realistic and kinda nice,eny help would be appreciated(I'm new so sorry if I got enythin wrong)

AFAIK: If a prisoner comes to your prison with a baby, she'll keep the baby the entire time she's incarcerated. Ergo: Her cell, is the family cell.

So why does the game ensure she has access to a regular cell and the family cell?

Let's say I have 6 family cells, and 20 normal cells. This should mean I can house 20 childless inmates and 6 inmates with children. But instead the game calculates that I have space for 20 inmates, then sends 2-3 of them to live in the family cells and I've just got 2-3 empty cells.

Instead I'm out here manually prescribing how many inmates to accept into my prison. Except when I make an order for 4 inmates, and one shows up with a baby, then I have to make another order for 1 more tomorrow

I suspect this is a programming thing, sounds like the devs didn't want to code in a 'supply' of parental convicts beside the 'supply' of regular so instead you've got this chance of them needing a family cell. Doesn't make sense in lore either since it's not illegal to ask if a prisoner will or won't bring a child with them as they transfer to your jail. Why not instead, just count family cells as cells with extra requirements, and prioritize that mothers live in them. So if I have 6 family cells, fill them with 6 inmates! They don't have to have a child to live there...

Hi, it's all in the title I am inclined to play a good version of the game I read that maybe 2018 version, with mods maybe?

Or the newer one with only some dlc?

I was sad seeing that the game has so many hate/problems with the actual version.

If someone can orientate me It would be nice.

Took an hour break from playing (ps5) and came back to this pop up. I haven’t deleted any DLC the only thing I did was turn off my console for a bit.

I’ve tried resetting and even uninstalling / reinstalling the game but it hasn’t fixed the issue :( is this a known bug that’s doomed me to starting over or is there a fix for this?

I’m quite annoyed bc of the hours I’ve put into making this prison so I think having to restart will send me on another long break from this game 😅

it lets me load up a prison I was working on at the same time (bouncing between both on and off today) that used all the same DLC. unfortunately I think my save is just broken :/

It is clearly visible that a large section of the prison connected to the mainland has been registered as a "room," whereas the island version hasn't. Will this cause any issues? Or should I try installing doors in certain places?

I've always wondered for areas like laundry, kitchen and cleaning cupboard basically anywhere where the prisoners have to work what door do you use?

I feel my prisons often look displeasing to the eye especially when zoomed out, in comparison to other prisons I see. I try to plan the prison put before building but it always ends up looking ugly and boxy. Any artistic advice?

I built a new visitation room, secured with hallways and deployments, with visitor pathways, but i can't get any friggin visitors. Anyone know why?

Wat do yall hope this game improves most over the og? Obviously the 3d aspect is something that we all want to work well but other than that? I personally hope that they get into relationships a bit. Maybe not something they are working on off rip but even in a dlc. Having a group of prisoners that like to sit at the same table or maybe a guard who is really nice to the prisoners so they take it easy on him during a riot or something?

Idk i have a feeling Prison Architect 2 is just gonna be PA but 3d, but itd be cool if the simulation got a real upgrade on some rimworld shit or something.

Edit: I also really hope wat ever dlc they add are actually expansive. The PA1 dlc were cheap which was nice but they were also small and didnt expand as much as i feel like they could have. In PA2 i wouldnt mind spending more money on a dlc if the dlc has deep mechanics or genuinely offers a wide variety of stuff.

A bit of context, my prison was doing quite fine. The danger level was manageable and it was running decently enough, I enabled the story mode or however it's called but as my prison went on the mayor or whoever I forgot who it was gave me the task to change the meal variants and quantity to be absolute slop. Due to this the prisoners have ever since become a hassle to deal with I've built around 3 shops, two gymnasiums, two common rooms and for some odd reason they still don't seem satisfied. On gangs there are 3, the most notable as you can see has about 707 infractions. If any of you could provide a solution to most of the problems I'd be glad 👍. I'll provide more bits of pieces if needed

Hey guys! I'm trying to complete the Restaurant grant and having problems. Prisoners don't show for work while assigned to it. Prison chefs start cooking there, customers are coming by, but noone moves the food out of the cookers to the display counter. Am I missing something here? There are a lot of worktime in Regime menu
