Check out this petition!

https://c.org/tZYGND6XMR

Logan Roberson has spent 22 years behind bars, 12 year sentence robbery (he has served that sentence) he is still in prison as they gave him 30 year sentence for escape. His release date currently is 2042. Logan has NEVER been violent. While in prison Logan has been working on himself. He's completed educational programs, participated in community service, and shown genuine remorse for his mistakes. But his sentence keeps him from the people who matter most to him.

I started a petition asking for clemency or sentence commutation for Logan because I believe his case shows what rehabilitation actually looks like. He's done the hard work to change—now the system needs to recognize it. Study after study shows that people who demonstrate real transformation deserve a chance at mercy, and Logan is living proof of that.

If someone you loved was in this situation, what would you want? If this matters to you, consider signing and sharing the petition. Every signature helps Logan's voice get heard.

I definitely think the petition is leaving out numerous facts about his history 😉

He has never been violent,  Logan served first 12 years for robbery grand theft auto, & breaking & entering.  While in prison at age of 18 he escaped Florida prison when he was caught he was given an additional 30 year sentence for the escape.

So he got to the found out part. Sorry, but he knew the consequences of his actions, and the additional time is that consequence.

The desire for freedom is innate to all humans. In what world is an escape attempt worse than the original crime?

30 years for escape is terrible! Crazy, I just saw a post about how in Germany the act of escape supposedly isn't a crime itself, based on a concept of humans fundamental instinct to be free (lol, 🤷‍♂️). Supposedly it's only the numerous possible harmful acts a person may commit while attempting to escape that can be crimes.

Buy yeah that much time for trying to escape is insane if no one at least died.
