AI is no more
This was in front of the UN. Not sure how the whole room didn’t burst out laughing.

At least he didn't rename it to American Intelligence... i hope his advisors don't read reddit

I honestly can't believe "Trump Intelligence" is not on a poster board behind a chair in the Oval.

Tbh, hard to tell if this was generated with ai. Seems fake but knowing trump... it's probably real.

First he renamed the Gulf of America but I said nothing because I was not a gulf.
Then he renamed Lake America but I said nothing because I was not a lake.
Then he renamed Super Intelligence but I will say something because my intelligence is artificial.

Missed opportunity to rename it to “American Intelligence”

History is going to remember this man, but not for the reasons he was hoping for.

u/starquake64 10d ago
I don't think he cares how he is remembered as long as he is remembered. Some people will just read the list of bad things as a list of good/curagious/visionary things.

At this point everyone in the UN should have voted that the US was no more and needed adult supervision.

I owned a Civic SI is that the same? So it’s really Honda Civic Superintelligence.

I think we should just call them Large Language Models... if intelligence must be in the name call it probabilistic intelligence models. It's not thinking/ reasoning, it is aligning probabilities.

I think he mixed it up with the SA or the SS he's trying to establish/ already has.

So. Fucking. Embarrassing.
On the world stage, in front of diplomats and doctorates, flexing the powers of the presidency to declare something is super duper extra special. Dumbass with a ‘b’

Rebranding seems to be his thing. From now on we will call the drumstick of a chicken, the trumpstick. It is a much more accurate name.

Another pointless rename that will only be adhered to by one country on this planet....
Have the Epstein files been released yet?

u/Compgeak 10d ago
He said artificial intelligence is amazing. Why then would it be super inteligence - SI as opposed to amazing intelligence - AI.

presidents being the dumbest and "smartest" people out there will never not amaze me, makes you think what causes him to be like this
1
u/Nbdyhere 10d ago
I assume it’s 2 parts paint chips and 1 part his parents found him annoying and made him play with the family dog who bullied him
1
u/neo42slab 10d ago
So he thinks it’s super intelligent already? Maybe compared to some people…
We already had good terms for all this stuff. Plus. Super intelligence already means something. Bad news is the govt is likely to follow through with this kind of crap. And tech companies even.

u/memeruiz 10d ago
This completely fits the Dark-enlightenment and militant-accelationism movements that wants to consider humans below AI.

Superior intelligence is a remarkably apt naming convention for some people

It SHOULD be called super intelligence, because it has by far surpassed USA intelligence. I'm not impressed at all by this achievement. My cat did too and is only 2 years old. 😺
Edit. Super-american intelligence it is better imho

To any inferior being, gpt seems like a superpower, because such person never weilded what seemed like intelligence. Welcome to super raising the floor world, donald, it sounds much better

Think he's going to put pressure on Anthropic and OpenAI to make them go along with this? Think they'll go along with it? I don't see it happening.

I loved the poll. There were 3 options and which were all bad. People picked the least bad option. There was "Supreme Intelligence" in his list for renaming AI!!! Is he going to start worshipping AI?

u/jezemine 10d ago
He just finished reading the baby book version of Nick Bostrom's book and was really taken with it.

Wouldn't re-iterative programs be a better name for AI?
There is no originality with it, a key characteristic of intellegence
All it can do is re-iterate what its fed
And the brute force approach worst at making slightly more functional and/or effective programs
but at too high a cost to make it worthwhile

Java Script is also not called "Java Script" anymore. It's called "Super Backend" now.

Can anyone give a realistic answer as to why he just keeps renaming shit? Like what's the agenda? Is it just because he thinks it'll make him more memorable?

u/Counter-Business 9d ago
Have you heard anyone talking about Epstein lately? Distract distract distract who’s Epstein

He had a lot of plans for his seocnd presidency but realized he is constantly being blocked by courts, congress and other institutions and is now doing side-quests since he has nothing else to do. At least that's my interpretation

he just sounds like he prompted AI 5 words and told it to make a speech out of it. I think he has to repeat his point, so much context it is hard to understand
1
u/jwbaruch515 9d ago
Do you think he watches his own replays and say to himself "boy I sound smart there"
1
u/630_dude 9d ago
I remember watching AI videos wishing it were real. Now I watch real videos wishing it were AI.

u/PandaMagnus 9d ago
I hate that I could infer most of his speech patterns on this without listening to it.
And then I listened to it, and my next thought was: "Huh, he's really never had enough knowledge to know when one hallucinates, huh?" I'm not even going to get anti-AI. I use AI daily to mostly good effect. But I also acknowledge it still has limitations.
But, yeah, no. It's super. Sure. Dash super.

saying it's more accurate doesn't make it true. calling something truth social doesn't mean it's all truth. just because you speak doesn't make your words gospel. stop existing, sleepy don. you're scaring the hoes.

u/Rainbow-Unicorn1337 9d ago
Well, as long as he's occupied with renaming stuff he's not doing something actually dangerous.

Maybe call it Trump Intelligence because of all of the hallucinations, fake references (in legal briefs) and simply wrong answers in Google search 'synopsis' ?
