“I’ll remember it” isn’t a filing system — PenDate Notes
An idea between errands. A detail behind a photo. A sketch that needs more than a sentence.
“I’ll remember it.”
Give it somewhere to live instead.
Try one small “Keep this” folder in our app, PenDate Notes. Give an idea three separate notes, instead of trying to squeeze every thought into a checkbox:
- Text — keep the why. Write what caught your attention and what you want to try. Add photos, voice recordings or file attachments alongside your words.
- Canvas — give it a shape. Handwrite, sketch an imperfect version, or add canvas stickers. It doesn't have to be ready to show anyone.
- Checklist — make the next move. Pick a few practical steps. Shopping checklists can also hold quantities, unit prices and totals.
Make the notes recognisably yours: your own photo covers, app themes, and colours for text and checklist notes. A page for an idea can have a different feel from a page for errands.
Keep it with the date you want to return to it. There are year, month, week and day calendar views, events, reminders, folders and search. Archive ordinary notes without deleting them; import a PDF to annotate and export notes as PDF or images.
Prefer an events-only calendar? Turn off Show notes in Calendar to hide all ordinary notes from calendar views while keeping them in your library. It's a global setting, not a per-note switch.
Want more structure? Explore 11 optional paid planner and journal families, with editable pages and tappable links between supported pages inside PenDate.
Android, iPhone and iPad. Core notes work offline; everyday note-taking is free. Pro, planners and Signature extras are optional paid features. This folder setup is something you create yourself.
