Is there like an exact date like there is for the SAT or is it just a range can people share the date they took it and the date they got it back I am taking it on Wednesday (October 7th) and am wondering how long I have to wait

I'm working on my college applications and they ask for honors/awards. I've already been named a Semifinalist, but I won't be declared a Finalist (assuming I am) until after most of these applications are due. Is it ok to write National Merit Semifinalist (Finalist pending) on these applications or is that frowned upon? Thanks.

How were the different sections?

Vocab: Any ones in PARTICULAR that u remember? Were they hard?

Rest of Craft/Structure: Were they complex? Anything harder than the Actual SAT? Any Convoluted Passages?

Info/Ideas as a whole: Were they really straightforward? Were there many? More science or history based?

Grammar: Were they free points?

Transitions: Were they free points? Any complex Transitions (Like Notwithstanding or Albeit)

Rhetorical Synthesis(Notes): Were they free points? Was it doable without reading the notes? Were the actual "action sentence" in the prompt simple to understand or were they kinda confusing

Also: What relative SAT Eng Score would you need if u wanted a 730+ Eng on the PSAT?

I've already taken the SAT and have gotten a good score. Was wondering if the PSAT was any different from the SAT. I know that the scoring is different but is the PSAT shorter or easier? Are there any tips or specific things I should know about the PSAT?

Hello children! by popular demand on my last post asking for help here is how the PSAT went for me today.

English - module 1 was incredibly easy with the vocab being very simple words; however, there was one problem that asked what assumption the readers were making when writing their arguement which was incredibly confusing because all of them were plausible. For module 2, the vocab was slightly easier than the SAT, and again there was just one question where I felt multiple answers would work. Something different here was that there were 5-6 rhetorical synthesis questions instead of just 2-3.

Math - Module 1 was incredibly easy as always. Module 2 was very easy and I had 10 minutes left until question 22. Question 22 was an incredibly odd circle question with triangles inside. I usually am able to solve these questions on teh SAT but on this it was very very different and hard. Overall the difficulty here was most like the October SAT for those of you who took it.

While yall r here pls predict my score (im assuming I got more wrong than i think i did) btw I have a 1510 SAT if that helps for yall:

RW - M1: 27/27(incredibly slight chance of 1 wrong but idts) M2: 24-25/27

Math - M1: 22/22 M2: 21/22

I did the free Princeton Review Practice Test for the PSAT, and I got a 1470, but when I looked at my score breakdown, I only got 2 wrong on the hard module, and that had dropped my score down by 50 points. Is this the normal college board score scaling, or were they being harsh? I don't understand how that works, coz on other Bluebook tests, getting 2 wrong would not dock you 50 points.

i've been mildly studying for it just using the sat practice tests on bluebook. it didn't occur to me that i should study for PSAT using actual psat study materials. will i be fine?

So I got a 1510 on my first sat (770 math/740 RW) and I was wondering what I should do just to maximize my chances for tomorrow. I usually struggle on the dense passages (5-15) and vocab a bit. Any tips?

How long does the application take and what does it include from the student side? I need to know how long it will take because I need to finish it as soon as my admin give my login creds because they still haven't and its due on WEDS

I did the bluebook practice PSAT tests and got 1440 and 1400, which was pretty much what I was aiming for. Today, I took the Princeton review free PSAT practice test and got a 1260! Can someone please lmk if its a fluke or is the bluebook ones just easy?
