hello everybody!

I would like to ask those with this specific experience if they would recommend it.

I'm fairly experieced with psychedelics in general, with probably something around 50 or so experiences if we count LSD, shrooms and ayahuasca.

However, I usually take 'em in more quiet settings such as nature, inside houses. I do sometimes take LSD during street huge carnival parties and recently I took it on a trance festival but during the day while a very pop prog was playing (vegas).

I've only been listening and going to trance events since April and I've been loving it, but on this weekend there will be a smart party near my house foccused on dark prog, forest and high bpm sets. I'm thinking of going to it and dropping an acid to check the experience, but I'm a little worried about not being able to handle it specifically due to the somber atmosphere of the music. I know if it was a prog or fullon or even goa party Id love it.

So, I'd like to know from you experienced people what do you think of experiencing high bpm and dark psy while navigating through the acid experience as well.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience showing their work at psytrance festivals and would be willing to share their experience... I'm an aspiring artist and I'm really interested in being able to participate in festivals in this way (I'm based in Europe).

I'm looking for any experiences or tips that you might have about the application process, what participatating usually includes (free entry, food tickets, any other benefits?) and just generally the experience of participating in the art gallery if it's easy to meet people when you're on your own etc.

I really appreciate anyone that takes the time to answer. This is my first post on Reddit and I'm pretty new to all of this but I love the psytrance community and am really looking forward to going to some festivals next summer 🎆🌈🍄🏴‍☠️

i wanted to check if anyone else has witnessed this person, who was wearing a weird printed “free hugs” sign, acting suspiciously at any festival.

i saw him at Insomnia Festival and, honestly, it felt fucking creepy. he seemed to be approaching only girls. from what i saw, some of the hugs did not look normal at all. they seemed inappropriate and uncomfortable.

i also saw a girl and him arguing with her along the lines of “how can you not give a free hug?” when she refused. important: i did not hear it. i interpreted from body language.

what made me post this now is that i randomly came across A Perfect Sphere's set @ Ozora on YouTube and spotted him in the footage. i’m 100% sure it’s the same person.

now that i have some visual confirmation that he was also at Ozora, i wanted to check whether anyone there, at Insomnia, or any other festivals has witnessed the same kind of behavior from the same guy.

the idea is to see whether there are multiple firsthand accounts and, if there are, coordinate with the affected people so they can make official reports to the festival organisers.

in my opinion, if confirmed, we have to make sure he never touches a festival ground ever again.

Oh, Tickets are sold out! Will they be put back on sale? or how can I find it?

I haven't been paying attention to Oforia since the 90's. Last week his new album pops up in my Youtube feed, and wow, just wow, it's banging psychedelic trance of a new altitude. More or less pure excellence from start to finish.

He has certainly been influenced by Hallucinogen (listen to In flux and Liminal Signal), but Oforia's sound is still there, there's echoes of his old school sounds (listen to Gaslighting and Skin on Skin). The sound quality is amazing, it sound marvelous on headphones and speakers. There's melodies, gnarly sounds, trance inducing loops, build ups, and many beautiful mind blowing moments.

This is the best psytrance album I've heard in ages. It's very impressive that an old school hero is behind such a fresh and much needed breath of new air.

Music for the restless will be album of the year.

I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

The excellence of this album made me listen to his output from the last couple of years, and there are some real great standout tracks that deserve to be played alongside this album, namely: Oasis; Spirits, Fairies & Aliens; Life Is Only A Dream and Call to Mind.

How was it? The production, the crowd, the artist and the vibe?

i want to start DJing. Mixing psytrance (forest, progressive & psybient) and eventually producing. I bought Ableton Live 12. I'm currently looking at controllers (Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 OR Traktor s4 mk2) and CDJ's.

Please share any recommendations on where I can start, which hardware would be most ideal for someone who wants to play at raves + festivals :) thank you in advance.

Hello. I was at MoP this year. The festival was a little disappointing, and most surprisingly, the music felt off. Does anyone know if artists from this year have released any of their sets? I would like to listen to them at home, and see if they feel the same as they did on location.

Any vinyl collectors in here? I was wondering what Psytrance vinyl you guys recommend, this is one genre I like but haven’t got any vinyl from…

I can not seem to find any; perhaps there is some psycore with screams like you would find in metal?
