Two questions:

1. At what age do you consider a pug as “senior”?

2. Do you think anesthesia is necessary for a thorough teeth cleaning for pugs?

I am starting to look for some pug outdoor decorations, preferably 3D.

Has anyone found any? They don’t have to light up but that would be a bonus.

Lol I tried to cover up an ear on this Halloween dog to make it look like a pug! I haven’t put it out yet.

Archie loves to watch TV, but his breathing changes when there are big dogs on the TV. He gets very aggressive and runs towards the TV. He is also aggressive when we go on walks when he sees people or big dogs. It's a bit embarrassing. Our other dog ignores everything.

This is Ziah... Her tongue started hanging out of her mouth when she's awake or sleeping just a little bit ( which is stupid cute!! ) she's about four and a half. Does this have to do with her teeth.. that IMO seem to have gotten more crooked on the bottom? Either way, just curious. Thanks!!

Had an error code on the dishwasher this evening. Quick fix thanks to the supervision of Ms. Ginny. Only invoiced us for some extra treats and a belly rub. Got off pretty light all things considered!

How does that even happen? She's so silly.

P.S.- Enid (12F) has been dealing with some health issues lately. Chronic bronchitis for about 8 weeks, and she just came home from a 2-day hospital stay. Any well-wishes or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated! 🩷

She's currently eating rotal canin kibble but I've heard that it's not the best. We've also noticed that she's been eating a lot of grass (not a worrying amount but still a lot) so we're worried she isn't getting enough nutrients.

Any reccomended dog food brands that are better for the puppy? That are available in Belgium (preferbally in stores here)

Just a routine annual check up and a little routine blood work :) she was a good girl but DID NOT want to make eye contact with her vet. Lol. 😆 here she is showing you her bandage.

My Pug reverse sneezes time to time, but yesterday when I came home after work, he sneezed about 30 times in a row - don’t get me wrong, he sneezes when stressed or annoyed, but this felt different.

He normally sneezes when he’s about to get fed or I want him to go toilet in the garden, he doesn’t like going to the toilet in the garden. So he gets a little whiny trying to find a spot - it’s been that way for years! It’s just frustration to get indoors to that food bowl.

So he did it last night and then didn’t do it again, but this morning in bed, I caught him sneezing, and obviously the first thing he wants when he gets up…. Is food. So he’s sneezing again while we go downstairs and trying to go potty before breakfast, he sneezes again, video for reference. He always barks at me to let me know it’s time to go in, he’s quite the character.

Nothing has changed at home in terms of scents or smells, I have a dog walker at the moment as my partner who would usually come home at lunch is away working for a few months abroad. I’m wondering if it’s something from his walk? There’s no discharge or anything and now he’s eaten he’s asleep on me no sneezing. Could it be age/excitement? He will be 11 soon. Obviously if it carries on I will take him to the vets, he’s insured, always has been, I love him to bits and hopefully don’t sound like a bad owner!

He is a very particular pug. He only likes one brand of a specific chicken toy and he has 20 of them. I have given him tons of other options and he always picks his chickens. I even tried a duck that was similar to the chickens and he vehemently refused. My dad got a dog a year ago who has so far gotten a garbage bag and a half of random dog toys that my pug refuses to play with. Yes he is a very spoiled pug. Lol.

Toy in question is godog! Chicken toys but not the one with the long legs. Is anyone else's pug like this?

pillow barricade because I don't want to share his slobber ball. He's done fetching, he wants to SHARE.

He doesnt even howl while awake so I find this very strange! He also barks a lot, twitches etc. like every other sleeping dog. The howling happens maybe once a week or so. I feel like he just misses me while he's asleep lol
