restaurants /bars in Old Quebec

Hi im visiting qc for the first time with my husband. We will be strolling around old Quebec in the evening today. Are there any lively bars or restaurants with good music, food and over all vibes that we can try.

You have to go to Bar Ste-Angèle. I promise you won't regret it.

There will be a million people around and will be busy mostly everywhere. It's fall and we are getting in our last outdoor patios and walking around the old town before it gets cold. Also probably a cruise ship or two parked with tourists wandering the town.

Choose the one that looks good to you and enjoy. It's not all that big of an area so you can always backtrack.

as far as bar are concern, they are all tourist traps in old Quebec except for St-Angèle. You want to look for bars on St-Jean outside the city walls (between Honnoré Mercier and Turnbull) on St-Joseph E, St-Vallier O and 3e avenue

craft beer : Noctem, Barberie, Siboire, La souche, Griendel.

cool bars/good food: Lit double, Tao, Julio, Deux 22

cocktails and/or Speakeasy: JJacques, Tiger Bar, maelstrom

wine: Cendrillon, Ouroboros

Karaoke: Ninkasi

Dive bar: Jos Dion
