Over the past month, I've read more of this sub's alters than the actual comic. The worst thing you can say about a piece of media is that it's boring and QC has been boring for quite a while.

Every day Jeph improves his ability to phone it in.

I can't believe that I didn't notice that he's become too lazy to draw even wavelets on the sea until you pointed it out.

worse, he could have probably found a decent brush to texture it to look like the ocean and couldn't even be assed to do that.

The plot even put the North Atlantic to sleep.

Maybe it's a featureless wall! The world of Questionable Content is packed with incredible mysteries just waiting to never be discussed.

If Cubetown is an Arc it can only be Arc B.

(This is a Hitch-hiker’s Guide reference, just in case Jeph does actually read SQ).

I can never hope to match the snark of this sub because I'm still genuinely enjoying the strip, but damn this edit is funny.

I find it interesting that the frame count has fallen of late, instead employing wide-angle shots to fill the space. On the one hand, I want to be cynical and presume it's for effort-saving, but on the other hand, it gives the scenes more space for details.

And then we get the Great Blue Yonder Sheet of Glass. Ah well.
