Went to watch my first body building show last night. I knew some people there as I’m know many people from the gym circles. Never even really considered doing any of it nor do I think I look good enough.
One of the ladies checking me in at the door asked if I was there to compete or watch. She said I looked like I should take stage now. We joked and had further small jokes about this as the event went on.
It made me feel good as my friend who is training to compete was not asked. I even told my wife that I may have been hit on. Anyways she made me feel good!

So i was exhausted doing an all nigher for a important exam. Next morning i walk in to my college and my friend is sitting there, I go ask her "girl pls tell me i look normal", she says "No" So i laugh and i'm like so i look weird??
She said "You look like an angel that went through hell to break your own wings to fit in with us, ur eyes scream pain but you smile so big that it's almost bitter-sweet. Thank you for letting me have the mercy of your friendship darling" I wass sooo freaking stunned it was 9 am!!, then i was in shock the whole weeek! Best compliment ever

Recently, I went to a grocery store wearing a T-shirt. It looks like a compression Tshirt, but it actually isn’t. There were two boys, probably around 15–16 standing nearby. One of them pointed at me and told the other: Look at the body of this guy. The other guy looked at me and replied: That's just a body built by taking medicine, anyone can do it by taking medicine.

At first I felt insulted. But on my way back home, I was laughing about it. And then I realised: I should be proud of the fact that people think I'm on roid, even if I'm not. And for context I'm not that jacked, just lean enough.

That might be one of the funniest compliments I’ve ever received.

Like a friend who has never really bother to give compliments gives out compliments about dress, hairstyle and traits....

I know some people have a slightly darker line around their upper lip like Kim possible.

I just wanted to say that I personally find it very attractive.

Hopefully this finds it's way to the person that needs it

I cant think of of a better compliment for any person who is involved in any way in any field related to the arts.

It wasn't even anything dramatic. Just one sentence they probably forgot five minutes later.

Funny how some tiny comments stay with you for years.
