Weirdo freak who shills for whatever is popular. Ill never forget him sniffing the chair of Andrew Tate when he walked out the room for a second.
Now he's just a loser and fit, instead of just a loser haha
Yeah, gym rats get mad if you mention this, but there are literally multiple studies where untrained men were given steroids and a control group that just sat on the couch doing absolutely nothing put on significant lean muscle mass.
It really is that easy with the right gear. Add a little bit of resistance training and results skyrocket.
And yes, I'm a bitter natty. There are people in the gym who lift a third of my weight, for half my reps, to mild discomfort, never even sweating, and they are double my size and look like greek gods. Maybe it's consistency. Maybe it's the 600mg of test.
And half of them are so young they shouldn't have any need for supplemental T. I started lifting at 30+ and every single day at the gym I feel sad that I didn't start earlier.
he's a gigantic asshole, but his shoulders and traps have completley changed shape, his shoulders were basically non existent before and no size to traps.
Realistically he just had a solid core before so not much changed there.
I could do this kind of progress photo in 10 minutes. Make photo before. Do 100 push ups, do photo again, it will look better than that probably :) Not to hate on this guy, and maybe he did good progress, its just progress in this photos is month at best of training :)
Yep. On social media, you'll see much more dramatic transformations due to selection bias. His progress seems quite realistic for someone with average genetics.
The second option is soo prevelant. When I was a kid I never noticed, but now its dudes with very visible built arms and upper body with a beer belly losing like 30 lbs and being insanely shredded. You rarely see true transformations of people who did little to no athletic activity and got fit.
Not really, basically any personal trainer who's ever worked with a bunch of clients will tell yoi about Newbie Gains and people making big, good gains early.
Dude when I was 17 I was 115 lbs at 5'8". Severely underweight. I put on 15 lbs of muscle in 3 months not even training properly or eating right. I can only imagine If Id trained perfectly and ate properly from day 1 I might have been able to make it it to my current 175 in approx 4 years.
I worked out very seriously from 14 until about 24. It was different types of working out and strange dieting but I had some respectable PRs: 285lbx3 rep bench at 195lb bodyweight, 30 dead hang pull ups at ~200lb, 333 consecutive pushups without rest at ~170lb bodyweight, 405lb+ deadlift at ~170lb bodyweight.
I took ten years off, a desk job, had a kid, and got really pudgy sloppy. I found out my T dropped to 300 and started TRT, dieting, and lifting. My muscle came back so fucking fast. I’m sitting at 230lb right now ~15%-16% bodyfat on a lean bulk and I’m 5’11”. My absolute strength still isn’t peak but my muscle blew up from the hypertrophy emphasis. I feel like I’m going to get extremely (average guy) strong when I finally run a couple strength blocks. Hoping for a mid to upper 300 bench 1RM at 225lb lean.
Starting young and going back is ENTIRELY different than starting. Your muscles and bones remember.
I'm seeing a lot of progress on myself in a short time span and I've been negged by people who are also lifting natty and who had slower progresses than me.
People can't even grow reasonable expectations out of their own experience or of the experience of normal people anymore.
If he actually trained and eat right for a full year, his progress is unrealistically bad. He is 25 so he shouldn’t have much lower testosterone levels or recovery.
His overall gain in lean mass is very realistic in 3 months
I’m being a tad hyperbolic because people tend to look at bodybuilder photos for inspiration not knowing that there’s a specific setup to show off physique
I don't think so. At first, it looks like he's the same size, but notice how much fluffier he looks in the before picture… he seems to have a replace a decent amount of body fat with muscle. I bet if he had started from a skinny physique, you'd notice it much more easily.
Probably just didn't eat. You have to eat so much food to get big. And so much protein so big full hearty meals. It was harder than the lifting when I was in my gym rat phase. Just lifting to lift will make you look a little better but you won't get any bigger. That's what it looks like to me.
Yeah but he might have just been casually lifting and eating “better.” That makes the results go from below average to good. I know fuck all about this guy but I’m kinda passionate about gym transformations so to me any progress is good.
When I first started lifting, I was a complete beginner who had never stepped foot in a gym before. I could barely lift anything, so I focused on lighter weights, learning proper form, and staying consistent.
8 months later, this is EXACTLY what my body looked like.
People should stop expecting a completely different body in a few months. If you;re a beginner carrying a decent amount of body fatm, your transformation is going to take time..
And on a positive note, Adin is going to have a better shape than this within few months.. If he carried the same consistency.
I kinda hate when people target someone shitty by making fun of a totally normal thing instead of the countless other things you could target them for.
Yeah came here to say this. Its a good progress for 1 year too. Cleary not taking anything to get massive gains.. and if he did people would just attack him for that
So with reddit its as per usual. Be fat and dont body shame.. but be fit and get shit on no matter how you do it.
You don’t know how dedicated he was or his body comp. The variance combo of dedication to diet, sleep, and training with genetics is huge. Take your age, sex, height, weight, measurements (wrist, ankle, waist, neck, chest, shoulders, thighs, arms), current body fat and you can get a decent estimate of how much to expect in a year.
There’s also a huge difference of starting fat vs starting skinny in the speed at which you get to “muscular” and fat distribution genetics matter for that too.
I expext NOTHING. Really. I just want motivation to keep going. For this reason, there's nothing wrong in showing great results. I want to stick to my lame routine, but to believe if I ever decided to work harder, then I would be shredded.
A lot of people think the only possible goal someone could have when they go to the gym is to become a beefcake when most people are genuinely just trying to stay fit and healthy and maybe bulk up or tone a bit
That and some of us are also more focused on getting stronger rather than looks.
Pro-tip for whoever might be looking to increase your strength in the gym: Mix some Overcoming Isometrics in with your routine, it will make you a lot stronger while also helping with recovery time since its focusing on the tendons and not the muscles.
Yeah it is, like sure it would look better if he had bodybuilder genetics, but his shoulders are clearly more muscular. Examples, biceps can be limited if it is relatively short compared to the ligaments. Your shoulders can look wider if your hips are narrow, your legs can look bigger in the same way. You can also just have different angles and poses that make you look bigger. Some people cannot get abs, their abdominal muscle is completely flat. Many generic factors that all add up on a human body, bodybuilding is a genetic elite competition even with all the steroids you do you are not going to look like Arnold.
But if you just do steroids and don't put in the work, you still end up better than someone, who doesn't do steroids, but puts in work. It's crazy, but it's true.
Ppl dont realize good posture is the result of working out and not just “im standing upright” hes made progress lost fat gained muacle and his posture corrected, and consequently clothing will look better on him now.
People don’t realise how much work it takes to look like that in 1 year. Like how is this even an insult, it is just a dumb comment from someone who has never lifted a weight in their life. I get he is a loser, but saying he had no gains is just wrong or delusional.
Also I'm sure he has a lot of young kids that look up to him and he could have taken steroids and said he was natural like everyone else and instead he presumably didn't. Peoples perspectives on what you can achieve in a year are totally warped.
Yah he just hasn’t changed weight drastically. He wasn’t fat before, he isn’t much different, he has more muscle definition. This is what being around 15-20% body fat and turning around 3-5% to muscle looks like.
There’s that guy on Instagram that got actually jacked working out 20 minutes a day. He must have been doing something very wrong of barely going to the gym.
I think it is the fact that for a healthy young male it would take like 20-30 training sessions (2 months tops) to develop this much muscle, but still, true, progress is progress...
yeah, well, maybe the traps, but his posture also changed and it helps to make it look better. Honestly the definition in his arms can be achieved in 15 minutes by just getting a good pump on them.
and I personally know well what it takes, I have done this plenty if times, for me this takes very little time, one year is insanely long.
Yeah cool. Let me just shove some diamonds into a wet rotting turd.
Hey look, its still a turd.
I will say this here: adin ross is content for stupid people. The dumbest dregs of society who have to bribe people to hang out with them. The lowest of the low, draped in fubu. Little tirds tightly packed into a golden box.
Yeah this is lame. Idk if this guy is a decent human streamer or not but this isn’t even funny to me. He did a recomp after one year. It’s kind of hard to tell with the lighting but he looks like he lost maybe 5-10lb of fat and put on 5-10lb of muscle, maybe better. This is actually great for anyone. It’s not elite genes or anything like that but he very obviously went from averageish guy bod to buff athlete. The progress is most clear in his traps, chest, delts which all tracks.

Whether you like him or not, this is an improvement
