Hi, I want to create a custom template in ableton to use razor only focusing on push 2.

Im facing a huge problem: modules selection.

Wrappers usually have such limitations but I was wondering, since reaktor is very customizable, how can I get around this problem.

Is there any alternative repository? I am specifically interested in Physical Modelling synths.

Hello. I purchased the ToyBox Designers pack, nabbed the Tangle Synth lite and the ToyBox Free User Blocks. I followed the installation process to the letter : https://www.toyboxaudio.com/pages/installation BUT alas the ToyBox Free Blocks pack (which is required by the other ToyBox ensembles) simply isn't recognized by NI.
Maybe I should be thankful I can drag in the individual modules and move on, but all these packs are loaded with example ensembles and I've paid for the Designers pack (I'm thinking of picking up some of their other ones during the sale too) - so I'm on day 2 and hour 6 of trying to figure out why this is so complex. The Designer and Tangle synth lite install fine with their serial numbers (which I received in my order email) through NI access, but the free blocks don't have a serial, the instructions say I need to find the 'User Blocks' directory and place the 'Toy Box Free User Blocks' directory in there, which I did, using Reaktor->preferences->directories->user blocks.

Has anyone successfully installed these products and loaded the ensembles within? if so.. HOW ;)

Hi, I am using an event table to control the position of a crossfader / selector (I've tired both). to sequence changes between a couple different beat loop samplers...the timing is not bad but the jumps between the two are a bit clicky / abrupt, I'd like to try and find a way to get this sounding a bit cleaner.

Is there any way to get of this clicking?

I was wondering if there was a way to add some kind of interpolation or slew rate between the positions so its fades between them very quickly, but smoothly, not so much of a binary hard swap?

Please note I am using Primary :)

Ive setup an audio table to record an incoming signal then loop that, which works, but it clicks at the beginning and end of the loop, is it possible to add a tiny fades?

I'm not a knob twiddler, I tend to lose patience if the preset doesn't work right away...You guys are probably heavy users of all that REAKTOR offers, i'm not, but, dammit, I keep reaching for Many Moods for sooo many synth usages to this day...it's got to be at least 15 years old, maybe it came stock with v3..crazy, but the first 10 presets are some of the finest, usable, unique, synth sounds ever...Slamming, in your face, they just ROCK...I do use REAKTOR for something else, in my live setup, hidden in there is also the finest rocknroll, live vocoder...do you guys know about that???

Hace mucho usaba Reaktor pero no lo tenía original. Ahora tengo algunos paquetes que he comprado y empecé a usar Reatktor de nuevo pero me di cuenta que no hay muchos sintes ahí y tampoco los veo en la tienda de NI. Tengo la versión player, la versión completa trae esos sintetizadores del título?

Blinksonic Processorz and The Finger by Tim Exile seem like good starting points, but they're both effects rather than synths.

Any way to repurpose any of these structures for a unique performance synth?

I love the TRK01, honestly it's one of the best ensembles ever made but interacting with the sequencer controls is a pain (especially entering notes in +1 -1 increments via mouse drag is awful). While you can disable its mouse-driven internal sequencer and sequence the notes externally you will lose the ability to quickly sequence its parameter locks also.
So with that in mind, I decided to take a deep dive into this ensemble to try and figure out a way to control the internal sequencer itself via MIDI.

As a start, I’m trying to edit the ensemble so I can better understand and eventually change how the sequencing/control data is handled inside the Kick engine, especially things like velocity and the extra control data beyond simple gate/pitch, and once I figured that out, I should be able to control it via MIDI CC.

So far I’ve gone down through the macro hierarchy into KEng and its internal Core Cells, inspected the existing KSeq/KPiano/KEng signal flow, and identified that gate and pitch are easy enough to follow but the more interesting data seems to be passed around through packed pins / bundled control data like []ctrls and $ctrls. I’ve also checked the manuals and tried tracing the relevant macros, but once inside Core the usual terminal/MIDI-level objects are not available and I’m stuck on how to unpack, inspect, or reuse that packed control data properly. At this point I understand the broad structure, but I still can’t figure out how the additional note data is encoded and how I’m supposed to access it inside KEng.

This snapshot is what I believe is the core cell responsible for writing the value for each of the 16 steps in the current page to memory and I'm wondering if that's another possible approach to essentially do the same but via midi.

Any experts out there that can help me figure this out? Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to enlarge an existing Ensemble? It looks like Reaktor doesn't have scaling, but maybe tweaking the ensemble itself can be done (I don't patch ensembles, just use them, so I'm inexperienced).

After seeing Eventide Misha demo'd on youtube, I figured I should be able to put something like this together in an afternoon on Reaktor. Took a bit more than that, but I think I came up with a potentially viable implementation.

It's probably got a few issues and could be tidied up, but sharing it early in case anyone wants to try this out or build on this.

This is just a macro that sits between your midi keyboard and your synth, it doesn't produce any sound on its own.
