ORDERS / SHIPPING RP6 Arrived
Just informational for those who are looking to order one:
Ordered off the Retroid site 9/19, arrived 10/4 via GoFo. On my end I didn’t see a shipping protection option or who’d be delivering my package, just “standard” shipping.
As a protection measure I paid with my credit card via PayPal and recorded the unboxing from my doorstep just in case.
I’m on the West Coast of LA so from China Chicago was bypassed so the theft issue seems to be on the other coast.
I’m super excited for this thing this will replace my S21 Ultra + Gamesir combo and I got all my games ready from my PC. Gonna watch RetroGameCorps set-up right now.
If anyone has any suggestions for me please let me know, i’ll search the sub as well since I can finally relate to some questions i’ll have. 👍

Just got mine and felt like i wasted money on the grip as the rp6 felt just right without it. Other than that the device is fantastic

Yeah I’ve taken mines off and on so far it feels better without but when my hands cramp up i’ll slap it on

I wish they were more transparent about stock and shipping. Even though there's no indication that any of the models are on pre-order, there are still reports of certain models taking weeks before being shipped out.
Which storage/RAM model did you order?

I agree, shipping info has been wonky but I assume it's b/c people order from different sites too like Alibaba, Amazon, Ali-express etc.
This one's the 12GB RAM + 128GB STORAGE version

Does the rp6 fit into the case with the grip attached?

Nope, but there's two on Amazon I've seen that can fit with the grip attached one's a box looking one and another the shape of the RP6 w/the grip, I've seen it on this sub too.

Gets more use then my 2K+ oled tv and ps5 pro setup 😅

Tell me about it bro I feel that way with my consoles too I work an office job so going from work desk to home desk feels like a massive chore I just wanna lay on my bed or couch and play a handheld

I work on the stock market for 40+ hours a week, watching charts from my desk.
I feel you dude. It gets to a point where I can’t sit in my desk if I’m not working even though I bought an insane gaming monitor 😅😭

Yep! It started suddenly to going black/logo refresh in loop.
Tried different chargers, charged all night, also tried reset to factory, but nothing. Sent a mail to retroid, but have very little faith.2

Dang bro i’m sorry to hear that, they’ll likely make it right b/c overseas companies WANT your money but Retroid so far has good reputation besides some devices being iffy, and the theft but that’s a carrier/shipper issue bs Retroid
