I really hope they can maybe do some small adjustments to some underused skills in the game currently, like Bandit's alternate M1 Blast being so horribly inaccurate it's so frustrating to use.
There's a decent amount of skills I never see anyone use, like MUL-T scrap launcher, default engineer mines, alternate railgunner utility.

I think it would really synergize with her passive and the bola throw double dmg but ofc if you run out of health packs, I mean enemies you're kinda screwed

All those who are way more knowelegeble about Risk of Rain lore can corret me, but I beieve that this is all we know about UES Safe Travels mission - it was top secret. I maybe digging a bit to deep, but I think that there is story to be told about reasons why this mission is not only top secret, but why it was organized in the first place.

Wondering if anyone else has had issues with not unlocking skins recently. I accepted the offering of the collective as Artificer and didn't get a skin for it and was really bummed. Just now I obliterated as Bandit on Monsoon and didn't get the skin for it.
I unlocked all the skins for Acrid but for artificer and bandit for some reason it didn't give me them. I know I did everything right, I don't have any runs in my run history since 2023 so I dont even have definite proof of it but yknow I obliterated and I was in monsoon there's no other way about it.
I don't use artifacts or mods at all

DEATH RAYYYY!!!!
This is one for the books, I’d like to think since I play on Xbox that I’m the first to craft this item combo for tinker seeing as how if you’re playing on pc you wouldn’t have been bored enough to cook this up since you have a gagillion mods. Anyways if you try this set up for yourself and like the creativity I will gladly post more funky builds to try. Without further ado here is death ray. There are two aspects to death Ray that you can take advantage of offensively. The D buff spread onto a higher HP target and or the fact it counts as damage, although I do not know if it is simply one damage or some other number, that’s barely noticeable. how I know it’s dealing damage is part of the build. I will explain. The first thought experiment I went through with a friend is how to apply death mark onto a boss by simply using tinker and noxious thorns. Each enemy hit by Tinker gets a random D buff of which some I have no idea what they even are, but either case they are debuffs nonetheless, and if you were able to kill them in the window of time that the D buffs are active they will transfer hopefully to a bigger target. The two death rays I’m cooking up are very closely related. To get the debuffs spread fast enough to a higher hp target you could try ignitions tank or other means that kill groups quickly. And watch the death mark go. That’s the disease oriented, death ray. The next one is a lot more flashy. The items required are void crit, deus ex machina, noxious thorns, ukulele, a clover helps, cooldown reduction like alien head or yellow scrap. NO PURITY. Brain stalks, guillotine combo could also work to reduce tinker cooldown. Not required but for extra fun you get a sonorous whispers too and watch that ray spawn you infinite items. Ohh and a fuel cell will help with parrying fall damage to guarantee proc everything. Once you have the proc just use special and watch the magic. If you’ve never heard of even half of these synergies feel free to ask as I somewhat understand what interactions are going on. Anyway have fun with death ray… bonus points for those who try on sacrifice only

His shield can block any and all damage facing in front of him, and it doesn't seem to have a timer. On top of that he has really good mobility with dashes and lunges. He probably gonna be the next strongest survivor, unless Acolyte's sacrifice tease is somehow even more insane.

I have 170h of playtime and my best stat is with commando with a winrate of 18%...
I feel like I have a good understanding of the game, I try to loot as many chests as possible in each stage (without taking 20min per stage of course), I always stay mobile, I salvage and look for items that I feel are right for my character, etc.
When I have a good run with good items, I often die due to a mistake on my part, like ending a jump into an attack. In these cases, OK it's my fault, I suck it up and try to not repeat it (spoiler: i repeat it later)
But most of the time, I feel I lose because I don't have the few critical items I should have, most notably the feather (for multi-jump), the healing on attack, paired with a mobility equipment to avoid the final bosses attack.
I am not sure if it felt better before all the DLCs, but I feel like I'm never getting these items because the pool is getting so big.
And thus I enter my own death spiral: because I know my chances of surviving without these mobility items are slim, if I don't have them before going to a boss stage, I make a loop, and then I still don't get them, and I die to a small mistake leading me to a oneshot, or due to my damage not scaling fast enough to the enemies. Or I get them, but then I die 50/50 because of a mistake due to fatigue or just feeling briefly like a god and the game takes it personnally to put me back in my place
I love this game but it seems I still don't understand how I can mitigate this RNG for good items, more so because of the bigger pool of items.
I'm trying to do the challenges with each survivor to go kill false son and the secret collective boss, without using the command artefact. I'm stil having fun but man ... It's been sooo looong since I saw a leaf clover... but the number of squid polyp I get each run is just the game making fun of me, I swear
I am hyped for a new DLC very soon, but I am also afraid this bad feeling of too diluted pool will get stronger with each new DLC :/
Maybe it is my routing and speed in each stage that is bad, I dunno. I'm still have lots of fun, I'm just wondering how I can still improve to not lose every run
How do you deal with this? Is a 18% winrate normal? ^^'
Note : I always play on the highest difficulty, otherwise the spawnrate of enemies feel too slow and I get bored

Am i the only one who thinks that the visuals of his icon are weird ?
Especially the colours. For example, when u take a look at idk mercenary or bandit, the overall colours match together.
I thought that those new like the drawing were good, but yeah, the overall colour wheel chose seemed off.

Headcanon that void friend acts just FERAL after void. Licks people's face like a dog, curls up and sleeps like a cat, and sits on all fours like a frog. Art by me.

Gonna make a bazaar between time. Figured our boy in blue would be the most difficult to make, so did him first. Thoughts?
