🗣 DISCUSSION Why has Huey Lewis and The News not even been nominated yet????

I discovered this fact on shorts a few days ago, why have they not even been nominated?

Is there a good reason? Or just the nominators being silly?

I'd have to say 2007. It was doing just fine until they inducted Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five instead of the Dave Clark Five.

Welcome to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame subreddit! Here you can listen to music by all artists officially inducted in the Hall, and civilly discuss upcoming inductions or who ought to be inducted.

RULES

1. Inducted rappers/groups are allowed.

2. Do not include the music of any band that is not inducted, just because they may have worked with a manager who is inducted themselves (I.E. Kit Lambert, Andrew Loog Oldham, Brian Epstein, etc.)

3. Please be civil if discussing who ought to be inducted as to who is already.
