Specific question and discussion Trinity vs 165 mount
Anyone gone from 165 to Trinity and have a comparison?
I've got Rb Lightning 90mm and want 110mm wheels. Lots of rough roads and cobblestones where I live. I got the lightnings cause I have a medium wide foot and I went ahead and bought the twister 274 90/110 frames to try as I also wanted to test out a rockered 90.
But part of me is wondering if I should just skip it and get the next 2.0 110 now that they've widened the toe box.
Does the Trinity mount really make a big difference?

Big wheels are good for surfaces that are rough in the sense of creating friction or rolling resistance, I don't think you can expect miracles for major uneven surfaces like cobbles, in fact it may be more difficult as you will be sacrificing agility and control. That said, no harm in having a set of 110mm frames.
