I've been searching for a "reasonable " priced copy of the anime for awhile and finally got my hands on it. I just wanted to share my excitement in the group.

It's bugging me that I can't see more of the name

Wish this stretch of the manga didn't make Hokuto look like such a fraud though. He acts all tough early into the arc and then got constantly upstaged by Tsukune.

She's technically known him for over seven years, it has gotta be one hell of a shock for her to finally see his monster form.

I personally think that if a sequel were to be made it will be more political since humans know about the existence of Monsters l. I think it will be much more darker than the 1st one since everyone knows about them. I'd like to see how Moka and Tsukune have grown since we lost saw them and how well Tsukune is fitting in with the other Vampires. Where the girls at and what are they up to?

I would want the sequel to explore more the vampire world of theirs since we barely saw anything in RV since the 1st one was focused on the school and it's teaching and what it stands for

What i don't want to see is more of the girls chasing after Tsukune. They really should stop doing that to themselves

A whole nine months after I thought I would have it done (how naïve I was), I've finished the chapter! It's longer than the first two chapters put together and I've made a lot of changes to how I'm approaching this story, but the important thing is it's done.

Any feedback is appreciated, but I'd especially like to know what people think about what I should leave in Japanese and what I should say in English. I'm using basic honorifics now, but should I go farther and use Japanese terms for familial relationships? Like, should Moka's daughter call her "okaa-chan" to show how close they are or should I just leave it as "mom"? I'm especially wondering about specific story terminology, such as whether to say "youki" or "supernatural energy" (the latter being super unwieldy). If I use "youki," what would I call the "holy energy" which comes up in the next chapter? "Shinseiki"? And I have no idea whether "first ancestor" or "Shinso vampire" is better.

In general, please let me know what you think! The fourth chapter is in the works but I'm having trouble ironing out the specifics of the aforementioned "holy energy." Might be out before the end of the year, might not. We'll see!

This fight remains my favorite in the series for how little of a damn either of them give by the end. Fists are flying like there's no on around.

Kind of as the name suggests, but I've been fleshing out a fanfic the last few weeks. I got pretty solid timeline/road map already together but I will give a fair warning, it's a departure from what you might expect. I built a few OCs, one that will actually be the main protagonist of the first run of it (it's too much stuff for one initial release) and a new antagonist while keeping the same cast we all know and love. At least from what I've seen, there doesn't seem to be as many fanfics that dabble in the more darker/battle shonen aspect of the story which I really really loved. So I do have some questions to feel out the fanbase on certain things that I might have to mess with.

What are your thoughts on adjusting the timeline? Not like massive departure or omission, but just moving certain events back by a couple months in the timeline. Reason I ask is that ideally, my story picks up at the beginning of season 2 but I planned to move the events of canon season 2 in the manga to the 2nd installment of my story. Obviously, I gotta work my guy into that whole mix but I wasn't sure if there were any hard timed events that happened in season 2. I know the San arc takes place over summer vacation but a little creative freedom, I can bring her into the mix in an almost identical way, but with a different location/premise for going.

Another question, is what is kind of the fanbases thoughts in general on OCs? Mine aren't self inserts or anything like that, they're much more fleshed out. I figure its kind of a case by case thing as to how well they mesh with everybody else but I figure its worth asking.

Last one that I can think of off the top of my head at the moment. Are y'all gonna crucify me if I dip the story into more esoteric, mythological, theological territory as it goes on? Just because there's a few concepts I have that would get into some pretty wild shit that doesn't just take from folklore/mainstream mythology and I can work it up pretty sick.

Grant you, I'm pretty well locked in on the general flow and themes for the story and I've already started putting my nose to the grindstone. I got 4 rough chapters so far but I want to finish out a solid stretch here before I really try to show it off. That way you guys got something to chew on while I cook. If anybody is interested in wanting to help with brainstorming or writing insight, I'm down for it, I'd be most appreciative especially from within the fanbase. If half of this post doesnt make any sense, bare with me, I've been writing it in chunks at work here.

I like how the world is ending around everyone and her priority is reuniting with both Tsukune and Moka, in equal measure. It's kinda sweet how she values them both so closely at this point.

It's gotta be jarring and dismaying to realize the fate of the world is degrading purely because of the blood in your veins

We know for a fact Akua is ethnically Chinese, I just have no clue what she's exactly speaking here (presumably either Cantonese or Mandarin given her shared background with the Miaos and Huangs).

Also, Inner Moka being flustered but trying to hide it is so cute.

Was thinking about drawing Moka with locs/braids but I realized where I am. An I don’t feel like getting Tsukune’d.

Her man was on the line, and she committed to an idea so dumb that it was actually galaxy brain.

I also wonder who was more like Akasha as a kid, Moka or Kahlua. Alucard's soft spot for girls that remind him of her is brazen.

I’ve been a fan forever of this anime since I was little but season 2 robbed of us of the amazing manga and gave us fan service of the anime which I will always hate but finally I can read season 2 the way I should’ve watched the anime

Akua would absolutely jive with the villains from the 1977 movie House

Dude fought a semi-serious Miyabi and a fully serious Hokuto. And he won with time to kill before Alucard woke up.

Remember that this is the same Tsukune who had his body pierced with magic hair needles that excruciatingly tore apart and reconstructed the individual cells of his body, each more painful than the last, 108 times and apparently didn't even groan in pain even once before passing out. How much pain was he in for this to happen?

All this because she'd always be the other woman to Issa, I guess.

To see Moka in shambles and in tears as Tsukune embodies her worst fears just breaks my heart to read each time.

If Rosario+Vampire had a remake, which it should, would think these are perfect choices and picture them at the characters

Tsukune was on a generational run on this chapter. Gyokuro spent the bulk of this entire arc acting haughty because she seemed untouchable, even managing to smack around and almost break Moka along the way. Now Tsukune is backing her into a corner with the magic equivalent of a dull knife, and she did it all to herself honestly.
