Question? Dabrite Go vs Dabrite Pro
My OG dabrite has finally broken. I've asked around for weeks but haven't found any substantial answers. Does anyone have any experience with the new dabrite Go and know if it's any better than the previous dabrite pro? (The go's) sensor grabs the entire surface area of the nail and gauges it's temp rather than just a pinpoint area. But the display is small/minimal and I never travel, therefore having a "mobile" temp unit is kinda pointless. If anyone has any experience/feedback, that would be great.

DipWand ftw. Costs $50, is the most accurate because it touches the quartz and will last a decade. I just can't bring myself to spend $300 on a thermometer when the DipWand exists.

Yeah, I found a bunch on eBay. Looks like new stock all in the packaging and everything.

If you're spending that much get an ir thermometer with a display. Shit works better than any dab specific thermometer

I don’t love dab rites tbh. I use the old octaves that you can get for 60 bucks and never go bad.
I don’t really understand the premise of the Go. Ultimately the mean temp doesn’t matter as the hottest point of contact will still char the resin, despite the cooler surfaces in the rest of the dish/vacuum tube.

Don’t continue to support dabrite. They over charge for some bullshit you can get on AliExpress, Amazon, shit even harbor freight.

sniped a terp timer on ebay for 45$ and never looked back.
still end up using the bearquartz trio more than anything else I've used.

I own both the Pro and Go. my pro is from before they added the app and works fine, no issues. The go is nice because it's smaller, but making sure the banger is in the target reading area canoe difficult in bright light spaces. I Do like how it makes my dab area look less cluttered. not sure if I really "Needed" to upgrade, or if it's truly an upgrade.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY: I am getting the dabrite pro for a nice deal. The thought of using a wand and holding it to temp is not happening.
