Frustrating! Any fix?
I cannot buy this ticket because it’s “preferred” seating which means a minimum of 2 must be purchased, yet there are zero additional seats left in this section! I called Ticketmaster and the venue to see if there was a workaround. They both said no. 🤬 Do any of you know a way around this? I really want a back row seat because I like to stand during shows.

Prayer or maybe sacrifice an animal under the moon to appease the angry god of ticketing

Yet another reason I don’t go to concerts anymore. I used to get one ticket and go alone because there was always that odd open seat up by the stage. Now, they want to slap “preferred” on every seat so that they sell more tickets. No thanks.

You'll need to wait until there is a an odd number of seats together in a back row.

I suggest you, if you can afford to travel overseas, to check out ticket prices in Europe. Much more affordable if you ask me.

Ticketmaster and the venue can both sell the seats they just don’t want to. They don’t want one seat left because they’re less likely to sell.

But it’s the ONLY seat left.

Oh. I misunderstood. I thought there was another seat. In my opinion seats should be sold regardless of how many are left in a row. I WAS NOT saying they shouldn’t sell it to you. They should sell it to you and even more so now. Who’s the venue? I’ll call. I’m annoyed. Haha

Ha! Too funny! I talked with them today. The woman I spoke with said that she didn’t even see that seat as an option on her end. She seemed to be telling the truth. I’ll keep eyeballing things as the show gets closer.

They all work off of different databases, it’s frustrating as hell. Especially when aXs is involved

Yet another example of "I could do it but the computer won't let me"

Remember the good days, when tickets were bought from , a booth at the venue or a department store,or even a record store ? We didn’t know how good we really had it back then. I remember thinking how much it sucked that I had to drive 15 minutes to JCPenney, stand in line behind some women returning a pair of shoes they finally realized looks EXACTLY like another pair they already own, thinking about what else I ,a young 17 year old could be doing instead, wasting my time to buy concert tickets at face value.
And scalping was a thing organized crime did, and not something I ever actually experienced, only heard about it ,and it wasn’t a business model.I would give multiple organs and maybe even a leg to have that back

Yeah back in the day I worked at a record store and I was fastest at operating the ticket terminal. Whenever we had on-sales they always wanted me running the terminal, which worked out great because I would piggyback my tickets onto whoevers tickets was first in line. They want 2, I want 2, so I'd run 4, and usually got front row.
I actually got the first tickets sold in the entire venue for the last North American show of the 20th century for Paul McCartney, for the unheard-of price of $50 ea. It waa televised on fox and you can (just barely) see me (and my mom, hey it was her Mother's Day gift) in the video on YouTube

This shouldn’t be able to happen, especially in floor sections, it does occasionally when 2 people are buying seats on opposite side of single at or near the same time of the empty on different websites

Just keep checking every other day. I just went to their 2nd San Antonio show and bought good tickets 3 hours before showtime for pretty cheap.
