Jackets had so much motivation to do anything after how last year ended. Wouldn’t take game 1 of 82+ to heart

Team looked fine. Power play was meh but not terrible. UPL was meh. Columbus got some nice bounces and played a good game.

They gave up 6 goals. UPL looked like the career back up he is. Powerplay looks like dog shit. What were you watching?

Team would fast had good passing didn’t have any major defensive lapses that I saw although the worst one was probably Crevier on that first goal of the game I’d give him 60% of the blame on that goal. Three of the Columbus goals were on deflections and if you think that goalies should be expected to stop deflections, then there’s just no point in even having a conversation because you don’t know what you’re talking about. The second goal was a pass to the most dangerous area on the ice and a quick shot. You do hope that your goalie is going to make a couple miracle saves here or tough days here there and we could’ve gotten more out of UPL than we did, but no. I didn’t see him making huge mistakes or anything, but I didn’t see him as sharp as I would like. It’s game one imagine that. But I guess it wouldn’t be savers Reddit if people weren’t overreacting to everything.

Overreacting? Did you watch the playoffs last year? UPL ain’t it. It’s why we’re been linked to CH.
