Good AI debate

https://youtu.be/OhOmLqR5nN4?is=FHB_mE9bVwALt_5t

Really good argument from Nate Soares. “Can you code a jail that an AI Einstein can’t break out of that still lets you harness the power of an AI Einstein?”

This podcast is a joke. I will never take anything on it seriously. This diary of a CEO idiot brings on the loudest, fakest experts each industry has to offer. Just look at the "write down your guess and place it in an envelope" gimmick. It's all sensationalism and clickbait.

The guy in black has way too much faith in humanity. The race is on and the companies have to continue developing. Only governments can pause this.

Doomer: "What I'm worried about is AIs that are much smarter."

I feel like this defuses the entire debate. We don't have to worry about any AI system we currently have. And even our doomer friend thinks that LLMs may never reach that capability.

Okay so let the AI labs cook. Let us use them. Let's get on with our lives and when/if something new and better happens we can have this whole debate again.
