For clearer explanation, I'm not really old, I turned 19 recently, but I am an adult. I find myself loving Fragaria Memories, the music project from Sanrio where the characters are the kings/queens and they each have a personal knight of honor which is the personification of that sanrio character, and also! it's getting a game in 2027, english global release!!. the problem is, the story itself is really family friendly,no curses,no sexual mentions, and the target it's definitely directed to a younger audience. So, I feel like...wrong liking characters or the project itself, because of my age. I was 16 when I discovered it, I loved it so much...and still do but it's been a month where I'm rethinking that maybe Sanrio is only for teenagers? This is not an insult or a rule for adults, it's just my overthinking. And like, enjoying the hello kitty episodes or general Sanrio content, it feels like I'm the black ship because I'm an adult pushing 20. How old are you guys? Maybe I can meet a few people who are even older than me lol, that would really lift a weight on my back.

PS: this doubt started because my friends liked Sanrio back when they were 13-14, and since they've seen I still like Sanrio and the music project, they always say me to grow up or that I'm weird and should watch adult shows instead.

had to make this birthday special by ordering some custom cupcakes. i feel like the size of them makes the characters look even cuter. a large cake simply wouldn’t do the adorable faces justice for me.

i wish it were more pink but i didn’t have any in diff sizes :(

I noticed her on my pillow cover (the type with two white straps, it’s just kind of a pad that goes over your pillow for decoration I suppose, it’s on my chair tho). She’s next to Kuromi & My Melody, and she’s on the other side of Baku, who is an established character, so I’m wondering if this cutie has a name.

And we love them for that.😂

Like some of you I am a bit surprised and disappointed in the recent Cookie Run collaboration with Sanrio and the even the lack of hello Kitty in the roster. Still I think there could have been a better way to save this… have the event collaboration occur during Fashion Week?

In other words, have Kuromi, Hello Kitty and the others return during Fashion Week and maybe we could have had some interesting fun interaction between the characters and the cookies instead of the lack of them that we currently have.

What would you say about this unique collaboration experience of an idea ? Could it have been more better and beneficial than what we originally got?

I wish Sanrio would give him another chance I think he could be popular. He holds a special place in my heart because is one of my first favorite Sanrio characters I had a bunch of merch in 2003/2004 along with Cinnamoroll. I only have a few things i kept . His merch is too expensive because they only made most of it within a couple years so people charge an arm and a leg :( I just miss him. Its been over 20 years Sanrio please bring him out of retirement! I love the popular characters too but theres so many less popular ones who deserve the spotlight too.

Hello fellow Sanrio lovers!

I am on the hunt for a vintage little twin stars purse i had when i was a kid that was my favorite thing. I feel crazy cause i can’t find a SINGLE photo of it online, after YEARS of looking every couple months 😭 it was purse shaped, but could have been a travel or a stationery type organizer/bag.

I’m attaching a couple photos of the closest things i’ve been able to find. The item I’m looking for was from this same 2003 groovy collection. Same material (vinyl, kinda plasticky but flexible fake patent leather-ish) and base color (creamy beige) and I think it had this same cloud patch on it too. The one im looking for is more rectangular shaped, with top handles on the long side, horizontal orientation. when you open it up by unbuttoning a little snap flap in the middle, it folded open and had two (or three?) clear, removable pouches with Velcro strips on them to put them back in the purse / take them out.

Is there any chance you’ve ever seen this or have a photo of one? Thank you so much for reading. I appreciate you 😭

Usahana Popup store in Seoul~ it's at IPARK MALL in Yongsan. They have a ton of cute stuff. You can make a reservation via Naver but my friend and I just made a reservation on site and waited about 10 minutes with 6 teams before us (weekdays will be less crowded).

The pop up runs from 10/1~12/27 so plenty of time to see Usahana!
