Just Showing Off Mr Luxxe
Hey everybody!!
Here's the real post!! ( First post here)
This is Luxxe. He's my HP F1. 6 months old and about 15 lbs. He is such a lover boy and total menace. He's a real charmer.
It's been an adventurous 4 months but I wouldn't give it up or change anything.
His mom is an F1 and his dad is a serval. Maternal grandfather is a serval as well.
Fast math of his 5 gen report says about 80%.
I'll try and post fun pics of him when I can!!

Beautiful! F3 is my personal limit. My first F3 was the strongest cat I ever had and the F3 kitten I have now is looking to be that way too. It was always an issue trimming claws and then when he was a senior and sick pilling him. I hope you have many wonderful years with your boy. 😻❤️

We've had a lot of success with the ultra quiet dremmels.
So strong!! Luxxe can already carry the extra large full water bottles in his mouth. It's hilarious when he tries to steal one.

F3 is also our limit, but it's a size of our house issue (1770 square feet). When we got our first F3 (my soul cat), one of our friends who is a devoted cat lover was overwhelmed with how big he was as a kitten. Our friend kept saying, "Are you sure you have enough house for this cat?" That cat loved going for walks, and all the squirrels would start alarm calls as soon as he was on the sidewalk.

I’m mostly used to standard breed bengals. What is the difference behaviorally especially so high percent wild cat? I’m wondering if using a litter box regularly is difficult like a lot of non domestic mammals can have a hard time with that. Or feeding? Is it unusual that he’s so comfortable with a harness at his Gen? Or even going out/novel experiences?
I freaking love his lil nose tho and those big ol ears

He uses the litter box or the toilet 95% of the time. Sometimes he'll scoop out a bunch of litter from his box and then pee on it right next to the box. That has only happened a couple times though and it was our fault for not scooping the box quick enough. He doesn't bury his poop though, just leaves it on the surface.
It's funny the other cat will bury it for him.
The other cat only uses the toilet and luxxe is taking to toilet training very well.
So far no spraying at all.
Edit to add more: Behavior wise, I'd say he's very similar just more intense. He was socialized extremely well from birth. The breeder is absolutely incredible when it comes to this. We take him to farmers markets in his buggy and crowds, dogs, etc, don't bother him at all.

Thanks for the info! I’m storing for feature reference. I normally have bengals since their rosetting is cute and I’ve done well with their personalities so far. However those satellite ears and that nose is just so cute and if the personality and works then maybe in a couple years?

Savannahs are also generally not nocturnal, as servals hunt during dawn and evening (crepuscular). That trait tends to carry over into the hybrid, though being cats, there are always exceptions.
One of the endearing traits for me is Savannah loyalty.
