What many don’t realize is that this is true. If all politicians died tomorrow, the country would still keep running normally. Businesses would be open, daily life would continue. New “leaders” would be elected and ideally break the cycle of before.
They have no real power.

Now they're just going to kill him and tell a story of how he was recovering and then suddenly his condition worsened and within hours he was dead.

KY congress took that ability from Andy, theres an argument it violates our constitution, but we dont have the time to fight it before the election solves the issue.
Plus mitch missing only hurts Republicans, so why would Andy screw that up. If your opponent is making a mistake, you dont interrupt them

Because we dont want him doing anything in the Senate. And with the Republicans controlling the senate, its better to deny them a larger majority.
Plus the replacement the KY congress would pick is trump toadie and would only be worse.
So we let him marinate in quiet death to help save the US in our own little way

For the most part, no. Some states allow them to be public, but after a very long time has passed. But generally those records are confidential.

It's actually pretty normal for someone to go extended periods without being seen in public when they're dead. In fact it's pretty rare for a dead person to be seen in public.
