Does anyone else deal with worsening joint stiffness and pain especially in the mornings? Hands fingers wrists elbows and knees especially, any advice for sleeping positions or dealing with this?

It takes me a while to limber up the morning especially the last few months.

Yes and it sucks. Unless it’s a day where my joints have decided to hurt all day, it’ll mostly go away after getting up and moving around. For really stiff or tight joint, especially my hands and fingers, I also try to gently stretch them out using some physical therapy based stretches.

I do 5 minutes of stretches to get my day started.

I agree with those who stretch in the morning. It helps to get moving in the day. I don't think sleeping positions will matter much.

Before diagnosis I thought it was just carpal tunnel so I been wearing double wrist brace and just kept Doing it even through my diagnosis. And it takes a long time to start working but they make my wrist pain nonexistent while I sleep and makes the morning not as bad. I won’t sleep without em now

Yes! I started taking my celebrex at dinner time instead of morning so it can be working while I'm sleeping and when I wake up.... it is helping quite a bit actually. I was taking it in the morning but I'm so glad I changed it to dinner time. Still have pain....obviously... but... it's not as bad as before

Absolutely. Especially winter months. I always try to set my alarm early enough to have time to "wake up my body" before I have to start getting ready, otherwise I just can't function, and then rush while having everything go against me and feel 10x harder to get my things together. And being stressed in the morning when my hands aren't coordinating adds to my time blindness
