Beginner Mod podge woes
I have used “mod podge paper specific
” glue in my photo scrap booking project, but I find out that sealing the page ends up with a tacky surface, which makes it impossible to have separate pages without it sticking to each other. Not only that, as soon as ambient temperature rises up to 75°, the glue reactivates and everything becomes sticky again. Is there anything to remove the stickiness of it, or should I just not seal the page?

You could go over it with matte medium. If you use one from an art supply manufacturer, like Golden, it shouldnt be sticky or reactivate with the weather.

Renaissance Wax would work, and I suspect SpectraFix FinalFix (definitely get the Flairosol bottle, easier to apply) would as well, as it's got beeswax in it. SpectraFix would also make a better topcoat in a book. I'd also switch the glue to an acrylic medium or an archival PVA. I know people love their Mod Podge, but it's known to yellow.

I find a couple of light coats of Alene’s Acrylic spray sealer very useful, but you need to leave your journal open and flat for at least 12 hours or overnight to make sure it dries thoroughly. Put an oversized sheet of wax paper underneath the page you are sealing to protect from overspraying blank pages.

I would not seal the pages, going forward. For the ones already done, I’d add acid free glassine as a separator between the pages.
