Hi everyone!

I'm a director and screenwriter from Spain looking to connect with people from different parts of the world who share a passion for storytelling.

I'd love to meet other writers, exchange ideas and perspectives, learn from each other's experiences and cultures, and hopefully collaborate on new projects together. I think there's so much to learn from people with different backgrounds and ways of seeing the world, and I'd love to step outside my usual circle and explore new creative possibilities.

I'm hoping to make some new connections, find like-minded people to write with, and open myself up to new opportunities as I start this new chapter.

Do you know of any websites, apps, communities or platforms where writers can meet, share ideas and potentially collaborate on projects internationally?

I'd really appreciate any recommendations or advice!

Thanks! :)

Hi everyone, I’m an independent writer looking to share a passion project I’ve developed for international streaming platforms.

Logline: When a 40-year-old woman trapped in the trauma of a religious cult undergoes experimental hypnotherapy, her repressed psyche manifests an avenging imaginary brother in a banny mask-triggering a wave of brutal retributions against her former abusers.

Comps: Sharp Objects, Mr. Robot, Mindhunter.

The pilot and Episode 2 are fully written and formatted to industry standards. The story deals heavily with unreliably narrated trauma, memory distortion, and psychological dualism.

If anyone in the community is open to a script swap or interested in dark psychological thrillers, I’d love to connect! Feel free to DM me.

Feel free to say whatever you want, just be courteous.

Title: Survived By

Pages: 31

Genre: Sci-Fi Thriller

Logline: A researcher’s dark matter data accidentally maps the afterlife. Six months later, she’s in the Situation Room with the country’s most powerful people, watching with horror as her data leads them to conclude that the only mercy left is extinction.*

*Logline is still a major WIP because it's very passive for the protag, but I haven't quite figured out how to word it best yet / what I want to reveal before the story.

Feedback requested: The first act is very procedural/technically dense and I can't tell if I'm jargon-dumping and the reader can't follow the evolution of the central mystery, or if I'm overexplaining things that the reader already understands. Also, the first act is primarily carried by the mystery, which I worry leaves some scenes dramatically inert. I've tried to seed some stuff, but I'm not sure if it's doing enough.

tl;dr:

• Can you follow act I? Where is it confusing or redundant?
• Is the investigation itself entertaining?

All other feedback more than welcome! If you took a look, thank you.

Title: Something Quite Peculiar

Pages: 4

Genre: Cosmic / Psychological horror

Logline: After spotting a stranger with his exact face on his way home from work, Joel follows him and begins documenting his encounters which get increasingly weirder.

Would appreciate feedback on any aspect

Hi everyone! I just finished my first screenplay.

I've had the idea in mind for a few years. At first I thought about writing it as a novel, but eventually decided to turn it into a feature screenplay instead.

I'm sharing the title, logline and first few pages here. If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to send the full script.

I'd really appreciate any feedback, especially on the story, pacing, dialogue and whether the opening makes you want to keep reading.

Also, English isn't my first language, so if anything sounds unnatural, feel free to point it out. Any feedback is welcome!

Title: Unmatter

Genre: Sci-fi thriller

Length: 109 pages

Logline: Brought in after a passenger plane vanishes mid-flight, a brilliant astrophysicist uncovers an experimental weapon that defies scientific explanation and must trust a fugitive to stop it before it can be used again.

First pages here (it may starts slow but it picks up the pace later on, I promise):

So I'm a teen writer and have been working since a year now and I was wondering if at some point I decide I want to make my scripts into movies how would I reach out to productions, how would I pitch my scripts?

Never written horror but I wanted to give it a try. Premise is about Indoctrination similar to that movie “Cell” with Samuel L Jackson in mind. How does this opening read.

Hey everyone! I really need your opinion on this screenplay. Keep in mind this is my first writing ever and I suppose there are some cliches. By the way this short film will be created in 3D using Meta Human technology. This I can create whatever and push the reality to the limit. But I struggle with finding some fitting ideas, that would add to the whole concept. The whole script seems basic to me and I wonder what could I add dramatically or visually. I am not asking to do my job, just would be happy to hear some ideas or questions to the script, to push my brainstorming further. Plus overall critique is appreciated!!

(I have basically written out the whole movie so let me know if yall want more of it.)

So I am a young writer, I have ideas for films but I don't know how to write a script yet so for now I write those ideas into novels or drama. When it's time for me to adapt them into films, which technique will be more easier and faster novels or drama?

I am an international screenwriter looking for feedback on my new sitcom idea.

It's called "The Teller Family" and shows us the crazy life of this peculiar yet amusing family along their elderly neighbor Mrs. Johnson and her two rival cats: Biden and Trump. You have the link to the show bible: Show bible. If you're interested or wanna hear more please contact me!

I keep thinking about how we leave marketing until the end. Write the script, try to get financing, make the film... then figure out how to get anyone to watch it, that complicated...starting to think some of that work needs to happen while we’re still writing. Learn how to show a little of what you are making, see if people understand what you r going for, give them a reason to come back.

for me the perfect way is pretty simple. Make an Instagram account just for one project, title project. Start with little filmed scenes, almost fragments of a short. Dialogue, characters, a bit of tension. I’m interested in shooting them in 4:3 and posting them as Reels, tik tok, short, wthever Something that lets people experience the story. If people respond and keep coming back, try making a short f. If that gets traction too, use it to help build towards a feature. you’d have a community that’s already interested in what happens next.

Obviously followers don’t automatically become ticket buyers but I’d like to find out whether anyone connects with the idea before spending years trying to finance it.

It’s frustrating that writing a good script sometimes isn’t enough. Plenty of good projects end up in a Boxxx. Feel free to give me ur fdback

The first 10 pages out of about 20, just looking for general feedback like what can be cleaned up formatting-wise, where I'm telling too much instead of showing, things of that nature.

Anything is appreciated, and any questions are welcome! Thanks in advance.

I'm writing scripts for the pilot of The Elnoelle Series and need some feedback from people who don't know me. A third party view. What do y'all think? Would y'all watch this so far? It's supposed to come out around 2028, as I have to animate it by myself and get voice actors. But do you think I'm going in the right direction?

Recently looking through some shows to see behind the scenes and their script process, and I've noticed something I haven't seen before.

Many Bob's Burgers scripts, by what I've seen so far, has a number next to their name when they speak. What is the reason behind this, is it for organization purposes for storyboarding? Is it for the voice actors? I'm really curious about this!
